We've only visited the Casa once on a busy Friday night. The restaurant is clearly popular, especially with families, but the service was adequate. Really no surprises on the menu. We went with sweet cornn tamales followed by chicken and steak fajitas. The tamales were disapoointing and di not have a very strong corn flavor, the fajitas had very poor quality steak. We'll give them another try as the menu is large and it is popular so there should be some good items hiding somewhere!

For vegetarians they have bean, bean and cheese, zucchini and cheese, and el Salvadoran herb (laroco) and cheese pupusas. One order gets you get 2 pupusas and a tub of not spicy tomatoey sauce and some excellent pickled slaw. You can see them making the pupusas right there behind the counter, so you will have a little bit of a wait - but it's absolutely worth it!!

If you don't want to drive to The Plains to El Agave or Winchester (where there are good choices) this is a decent local Mexican restaurant.Quesadillas and fajitas are good. Margaritas are good (albeit a little too sweet)The service is atrocious. We are sitting in this restaurant with only three other tables with customers and waited 24 minutes for our meal. Please! Don't know whether it is inattentive waiters or poor coordination with the kitchen.Whatever the excuse, it must improve/

We have been frequenting White Palace for nearly 18 years. Jose has always done an outstanding job with his food and service. Over the last few years he has added the bar to the restaurant. Food is always good and arrives fast. Always savory. You will not be disappointed.
