This casual restaurant owned by a family with provenance from Jalisco, Mexico is our favorite in Mexico, MO. They have a wide variety of appetizers and entrees typical of Jalisco, including fajitas, green enchiladas, etc. And importantly, their margaritas, while a tad bit on the sweet side for our taste, are more south of the border than north of the border, meaning they are close to Jalisco style margaritas where the tequila shines instead of the overly sweetened Koolaid style margarita mix drink that is sometimes served in the South and the Midwest and called a margarita. We have found a piece of Jalisco in small town Midwest and are very happy to have this restaurant available when we visit.

I've eaten here only once. Got an enormous chicken burrito that was full of a variety of juicy flavors . Everything was cooked right and every flavor came through . The complimentary corn tortilla chips and salsa were great too. Fresh and homnemade salsa. And it was cheap! I don't know if it's authentic Mexican or Mexico Missourian but I can't wait to return.

I know it is Mexico Missouri. I lived in Texas, so am used to great Mexican food. It was dirty inside. Like they need to deep clean, clean the windows, scrub the floors dirty. Ordered a margarita that tasted like a melted popsicle with a floater of lysol. I couldn't get past that to order food and left. There is a taco bell down the street which would be the clear choice.

I have always been a big fan of Taco Bell. The food tastes the same no matter where you go but this particular one has the friendliest people I have ever dealt with! Awesome place!
