I had the Fiesta Plate which had a Chicken Enchilada, Fajita Taco, Beef Flauta, Guacamole, Rice and Charro Beans. All this for $10.25. We have eaten here many times over the years an this is the best plate that I have had there. My wife had chalupas, which she enjoyed. The of course give chips and salsa before the meal. In addition to the salsa they also include a cheese sauce. The food is great. if you visit Alamo it is a place everyone should try.

Had a party of 12 and were sat down right away on a Saturday night. Servers were friendly but distracted.Various food options, seafood or mexican or both. Plates had generous servings and tasty. We decided for individual plates, instead of botanas, but would recommend the botanas.I had the fajitas and shrimp and it was decent, so was the carne guisada, the green enchiladas were a little salty. Since movign to this location there has been a decline from the old location.A good place to eat and try different options for all.

We have always been looking for a great taco place and took a chance on this one. The restaurant was small and there were no pictures of their food on the menu so we just ordered to go. Wait time was fair. We ordered a loaded baked potato, tacos de bistek and gorditas. Everything tasted great!!! We will go again for sure.

Juan's is a new restaurant that just opened north of the bridge in Donna. The food is good and very reasonable. I had the Huevos Rancheros at $5.50 and the wife had 2 eggs, hash browns, toast & sausage for $2.99. The eggs were a perfect over easy, the coffee was strong, and the salsa was hot. They are only open for breakfast and lunch (6:30AM to 2:00PM) Monday - Saturday, and 8:00AM to 3:00PM on Sunday. This is a nice, clean place to eat and worth a try. We will be going back.

Friendly home-style place with authentic Mexican food. This place came highly, highly recommended by locals and it did not disappoint. The menus are in English/Spanish but the staff almost exclusively speaks Spanish. This did not prove a problem as the servers understood English and the menus had pictures to make for easy ordering. Service was quick, friendly, and efficient. Food was DELICIOUS.

Imagine a place that does no advertising, with no frills that serves the best Mexican food in The Rio Grande Valley at a reasonable price.Located off the beaten path, near the 55+ community of Casa Del Sol, this little know restaurant specializes in serving delicious food. Breakfast is served all day, as well as daily specials like pork chops or meat loaf. Hamburgers are available, but we go for the Mexican food. Enchiladas, taco salad, and fajitas are among my favorites, but the tamales and mexican plate were enjoyed by other people with me. You seat yourself, and when it is crowded, you may get to enjoy other people at one of the long tables. When you are finished eating, don't wait for a check. Just go to the cash register and tell Martha what you ordered and she will ring up your meal. Remember to take cash, since credit cards are not excepted.

We have been going to Martha's for several years and it only gets better. They have a wide selection of food including American favorites like chicken fried steak and meat loaf to a great selection of Hispanic foods. As always, the food was very tasty and plentiful at reasonable prices.

We started with the chips and salsa. ..fresh and warm.... Delicious!Sweet tea..... Delicious...We ordered a parallita, which to me it means botana and in plain English a platter of steak and chicken, nachos, quesadillas, bolillos, also deep fried rolled up corn tortillas with chicken in them and other delicious food. On the side was rice, guacamole, peppers, jalapenos, lettuce, tomatoes and avacados. We also had frijoles alacharra (pinto beans in their own little soup.) So delicious! Plus wait.......home made tortillas! In this order you can order for 2 people, 4 people or six people. We ordered for 2 people and they serve you alot. We had left overs. My nephew who is 6 feet tall and plays college basketball ( I thought I would throw that in.)( Fear the Goat!) ordered 3 cheese enchiladas with rice and beens. When he was done with that platter he also helped himself to the botana. When the live band started at 8:00 pm, it was pretty loud and we could not hear ourselves talk. They sang great 70 s songs. So in the future when we go back, we will go earlier so we can hear ourselves talk! Thank you Mr. Ever ( Spanish name Êevêr).....you were a fantastic server. So professional and good to get along with.
