OK so the place is small, but they do have some outside seating. Its a funny little place and the decoration could be way way better even without spending money but hey we are in Biarritz here. So i ordered a taco, i wanted to try a few but they were out of the beef. I just got take away as i was kind of on the run. I think this place is kind of a tale of to halves. I saw them making the Margaritas and to be honest you don't need to take short cuts i mean it's not that hard to make a good authentic Margaritas if reading this guys please think about fixing these! The taco though came out with an array of mild to super hot home made salsa and hot sauce with real heat and the taco was pretty tasty. I would only add the second taco shell underneath to be a little more legit. But hey i'm definitely going back with friends for a full dinner and hope that they stick around. Its one of the things i missed the most here. If you like Mexican and are in Biarritz then its a worthwhile option. Plus they have nice cold Cerveza!!

Visited California Kitchen without a reservation and were able to get a table. The waitress was very nice but obviously very busy, so we had a bit of a wait to get menus. However the food was very good.

Went here with two friends because the reviews were so good.Including us, there were about 20 diners and only one person serving so service was slow.Only a choice of two starters, two mains and two desserts.Food was very good (only redeeming feature, hence the "Average" rating) but portions were small. We ordered dessert because we were still a little hungry (a first in a Mexican restaurant for me).
