We trusted the chef Jacopo who was friendly and young and therefore did not see a menu or prices prior to ordering. Caprese Salad to start. Delicious. Seafood Risotto with almonds next. Rice perfectly cooked. Very flavoursome. Lubina (fish) with peas next. Fish tasty but slightly overcooked. Peas hard and superfluous. Next was a sublime tiramisu. Very enjoyable food. Attentive waiter and chef. Downside was we were the only customers so atmosphere was lacking. Good food. Price turned out to be reasonable. Good to see an authentic restaurant in a sea of sameness. Well worth a visit When we receive yours recommendations, it's like opening a nice gift.Thanks Marie for these nice compliments! A very good pizzeria, good base and quality ingredients on top. A well deserved respite from "marisco", that we all yearned for. Lots of staff for such a small place, so service is very quick. At first glance at the location of this restaurant, we werenât too sure. Situated in a lowered complex next to an abandoned building, it didnât look like it would be the place the reviews said. We were very mistaken. This restaurant stands out from all of the others in the complex, looking modern, classy and inviting. Itâs the busiest place down there despite its size. The food was nothing short of incredible. It was well priced, fresh and cooked to perfection. My husband had the special: a fillet steak on his first visit and the seared tuna on the second. I went for the smaller plates which can be made into a large by adding two sides: falafel, coleslaw and Canarian potatoes serves with olive oil. All were beautiful. Thank you El Corazon for a wonderful meal on both occasions and superb customer service. Thank you so much for the incredibly kind words! We're sorry we didn't have any more of the fillet steak for your last meal, but we're so happy that you took a chance on venturing down to find us and that it was worth it! we made a trip from our place in the south to the north to eat here due the the high reviews and were really disappointed...We had the 'tasting menu' which was ok but nothing really rememberable, oh apart from my wife having not one but TWO huge, we're talking 30mm long & thick, fish bones in a piece of fish no bigger than 50mm square...waiter reponse was "oh really" yes, that's all he said.....Best part of the meal, the red wine and that sums it up, would I return, your joking.I suggest if you want a really decent meal, go south and try the michelin star restaurants....

Had a great greeting from the host who explained their background and the menu and that it was a family run place and all freshly prepared. We had some great fresh pasta, nice and simple and well cooked. I loved the bruschetta and my son had to have an extra serving of the bolognese after trying his sisters!! The kinder bueno pancakes were nice too as a sweet treat afterwards. This is a lovely place for a bit and I liked its genuine food and hospitality.Thank you for your visit family!!! We had a nice reserved table under a gazebo. Service was excellent. The owner explained each dish to us and we chose the 5 starters, all of which were delicious and nicely presented. Then we had various tapas, all of which was delicious too. For desserts we had 2 each and they too were lovely. From the outside, it looks quite dull, but when you come inside, you will expire the warmest atmosphere and an exceptional waiter who very gently and qualified guided us through our selection of food and wine. We followed his suggestions and had some really very good food, excellent prepared and seasoned.Whole wine bottles came on the table and we freely could take what we want - and when we paid, the waiter just looked at the bottles and estimated how much we have taken - and we paid just that.So we can fully recommend this restaurant - mainly for the food, but absolutely also for the atmosphere and the waiter!

Absolutely lovely meal, great atmosphere and very welcoming service. They clearly care that you enjoy yourselves. Starter of garlic bread, tomatoes and olives / cheese was simple and delicious and I need to come back to Tenerife just to have the beautifully cooked salmon main again. My husbandâs pulled pork burger was also really good and just like the food, the wine and beers were lovely and great value for money! And then there was the tiramisu...best to book.
