Although very convenient for the beach, and tastefully decorated inside, this restaurant flatters to deceive. Slow sloppy service and expensive food of an average quality left us very disappointed. 3 adults and a child cost €110 for lunch including wine at €20. If you're on the beach, walk on by as the town has many superior restaurants

Excellent! Friendly and professional staff, excellent food (we had really good croquetas and fried fish - then two different arozes) and a good wine list. Spanish food hasn‘t really developed in recent years - in this restaurant they gave Spanish food some new touches. Worthwhile visiting, great experience in an area where you wouldn‘t expect it!

We had dinner here, 2 plates of their amazing zamburiñas (small scallops) done with confit onions and ham on top, washed down with 2 bottles of Albariño which at €10 a bottle was terrific value, we also had some salad which was huge and potatoes done with 3 sauces; Cabrales; paprika and sour cream and herb. Lovely traditional dishes showcasing great local produce with a nice friendly attentive owner.

Let's start with the good to be optimist: pizzas are thin and tasty. Now the downside: dishes are really short in quantity, the César salad had only vestiges of chicken, we had to return a Carbonara without bacon (literally zero bacon!!). Literally to avoid unless you're looking for a pizza.

This is located 10 - 15 minutes out of town but worth the drive to get to. There is not much English spoken, but we managed to get by & select entrees & mains - which they told us was too much. The portions were large when they came out but all fresh & tasty & we managed to finish them off with a couple of bottles of inexpensive white wine. The final bill was very reasonable indeed.

We pass there one day, taken by some local people who had heard of the place, and it was full and seemed to be positively full most times which seemed a good thing. It had a small menu, which sometimes can be also a positive thing. The setting was pretty and peaceful so we decided to give it a go another day. Before doing so, I did look at the comments and they were all very positive and particularly positive for people with celiac disease for which they seem to cater well. As I was taken someone who is a celiac, I thought this could be a new discovery for them. With this in mind and since we generally trust the wisdom of the crowds offered by reviews, we went there. What a disappointment this was!!! The food in Asturias is certainly amazing, sometimes totally stunning and generally quite cheap. The prices seemed step when we looked at the menu in detail but we thought we would give it a go with a positive mind since we were there and maybe it would all be worth it in the end. We ordered 3 dishes and frankly they went from edible but nothing special to pretty horrendous and almost inedible, this last category being taken by the lamb dish, one of the most expensive, which had a really horrid acid taste and a not particularly pretty appearance. Mostly we just ate bread which seemed to be abundant, much more so than whatever came with it. In Asturias you can eat stunningly in so many places. My advise: maybe have a drink here and observe the views but definitely give the food a miss. The most disappointing meal we have had here for many years and we paid a high price to be let down. Maybe Trip Advisor reviews are not as reliable as I thought, hence I wanted to address the balance and give our own view to avoid other people walking out as disappointed as we did. To eat so badly here takes some effort and we seem to have sadly managed it in picking up this place!

We went there because of the nice reviews on tripadvisor but it disappointed us. The fish was not that fresh, the flavor with lots of garlic and the price too expensive for the quality received. I wouldn't recommend it if you have another choice.
