I absolutely loved this place, a highlight of my Provencal minibreak, in terms of food experiences, and that includes a couple of Michelin places. Everything about it was perfect. The fabulous setting, with shady leafy trees in the courtyard of wonderful Lambert Collection modern art museum. The service, a bunch of gorgeous people inside and out serve you with warmth, care and humour (and even excellent English). The freshly squeezed beautiful juice combinations, the tea with ice and mint, olives on the house, and wonderful food. I opted for seabass (dourade)n which was perfectly cooked, served with amazing caramelized aubergine; and freshly made chilli and mango "chutney" - so good!!! I normally don't have dessert, but the server suggested refreshing chilled compote of rhubarb with yoghurt icecream, childhood in a glass, just fantastic! Make this no1 for lunch on your visit to Avignon.

Came here for our first dinner after arriving in Avignon. The atmosphere was inviting and comfortable. We all ordered the rabbit which was available that evening, and quality of food was excellent. What stood out even more was the owner took the time to welcome us to her town and wrote up a list of things and places for us to do and see during the remainder of our trip. Great food, excellent service, and wonderful experience. Thank you for starting our trip off with a great experience!

This place deserves its excellent reviews for the quality of the food.Service is a little sketchy but if you can cope with that then definitely give it a try. We had 2 pasta dishes and both were divine. A carafe of house red at â¬8 was very drinkable and the coffee ice cream was strongly flavoured and delicious.

Great restaurant in Avignon. It is a litle bit away from the major tourist streets but itâs worth to visit. A small card with superb food. Our choise was fish of the day and rissotto. Perfect. A good glass house wine and a perfect dessert, strawberry cake. A reasonable price for all this fresh food. Compliments!

This is the only place ever during our many travels in Europe that have us food poising. The place is huge, touristy, with bad service. Just avoid !! So many better places in that area.It is so true !!And the earth is flat ! And the US never landed on the moon ! And JFK was killed by the CIA ! And US is runned by an orange president ! And Tchernobyl never happened ! And the planes nerver crashed on the Twin Towers and Pentagone !And Michael Jackson is still alive, like Elvis and they are both living on a secret island !!!!And Area 51 is a secret place for Aliens !Trust Alyona ! The Bercail is poisoning people and delivering an awful quality of service !!!They must go bankrupt at once and have the head cut !!!!!;-))(sense of humour...)William

We spent one night in Avignon and wanted to choose very carefully the restaurant we will dine at. After a long search we decided to choose Pollen, which looked very promising. We were not disappointed. The space is very pleasant and relaxing. Staff was very nice and helpful. The chef served few of the dishes himself and the food and wine were absolutely great. We donât eat meat and asked the restaurant if they can accommodate our dietary restrictions. They said it is not a problem. We took the 6 courses menu with a bit of hesitation since we were afraid The chef would prepare us a âcompromiseâ dishes. All the dishes served were perfectly made with 4 different types of fish. We highly recommend the experience.

What a gem of a find in the backstreets of Avignon! Persevere to find this small restaurant in the back streets of Avignon, it is well worth the visit. Very busy but small pizzeria / Italian eatery. Excellent food and equally good service. Definitely recommended and worth the effort which is out of the tourist trap. Large sized pizzas and carbonara served in the frying pan which is quite novel. Very reasonable prices too.

Went here after some hours of shopping. First off; Avignon is a beautiful and romantic city. I allways use this app finding a restaurant, and this restaurant soon draw my attention; the simplicity but good quality. Itâs located in a small alley, which we found really nice. We visited with our two kids. Since our kids our much about simple pasta and fried goods, we asked the waitress if some ajdustments good be made to the pasta which was on the menu (the original pasta with cury and nuts looked very good, but experimenting is not something our kids do easily). Me and my wife shared the biscuit with pesto and peas, had the steak tuna with vegetables and a mixed fish cury. The kids shared the pasta - served with butter and parmesan and had the french steak. The tuna - medium cooked -and the vegetables were cooked very, very good. The mixed fish cury was fine, simple thai dish. The pasta the kids had was just like described- with cheese and some oil; nothing more nothing less. The beef steak was tender and tasted very nice. The vegetables which came with it- especially the haricots verts were perfectly cooked. We had a white wine, which tasted fine. They charged the original 13 euro for the pasta the kids had. That is too expensive for just pasta and cheese. The rest of the of the prices are good though. The service is good. Overall we had a very nice experience and would recommend it.

This is an excellent restaurant serving traditional Provencale cuisine at very reasonable prices. You can sit inside (well-airconned) or out (on a not very interesting street). The fixed price menus are great value. If you intend to see the son et lumiere show at the Palais at 2130H, let the staff know when you arrive and they will serve your courses so there is no rush at the end.,

Five minutes from Avignon city center and the motorway A7 (exit n°23), a charming provençal home set in magnificent and peaceful garden. Internationally renowned gastronomic restaurant (chef Philippe Boucher, ex. Bocuse, Georges Blanc). Provençal restaura
We reserved here based on TripAdvisor reviews and were not disappointed with either the menu or the service. Both were flawless. A nice touch: one of the owners visited every table, confirming the diners' satisfaction in both English and French. However, choose another restaurant if you aren't prepared to spend 100 Euros pp for dinner with wine. The cheese cart is magnificent with 30 or more choices. We watched a diner at an adjacent table choose 6 (we had read that 3 were the rule) to the apparent chagrin of the server. Then to our amusement, her companion declined the cheese course.
