Raz con pollo and Ceviche are fantastic. The baby corn with ceviche was a treat I had not had before. The Paella was also interesting with deep flavors. The setting is like any neighborhood restaurant with simple tables And no pretentious decorations. The serving staff manages to keep all the patrons happy and the service of food comes out quite quick. Truly enjoyed the different Latin American flavors they provide. Definitely not mass production food!

Girlfriend and I just got back from eating here. The garlic steak was incredible! Also, the au gratin potatoes and garlic mashed potatoes were great. Our waitress was very attentive and the gouchos (-2 points for spelling) were frequent visitors. This review would be longer and offer more praise but I ate too much. Weâll be back!

I've been to all the "trendy" Mexican restaurants in the area, but nothing compares to the authentic cuisine at Mara's. Honestly, the only place with comparable Mexican food is Mexico itself. The food here is always fresh and incredibly delicious. And I'm not usually big on salsa, but their salsa is literally the best I've ever had.Recommendation: This place is really tiny (like 2 or 3 tables), so you'll probably want to order carry out.

I have lived here for several years, but have never tried La Merenda. It was on the top of my todo list. We tried tonight and it was delicious. A few favorites were the Chimichurri and Steak, the Risotto and the Blackberry Old Fashioned. The shrimp dumplings are just too spicy for our table. And for dessert, you cannot go wrong with the Creme Brulee! Great spot to sit outside, around a table and visit with friend-while getting served delicious food!
