My filet of beef was tough and hard to chew. I would not recommend their filet.Fifty five dollars to chew rubber! The restaurant is above average by Nicaraguan standards.Recommend a different type of beef.Probely more palatable???

Cuban-style cooking with a lot of Nicaraguan favorites. Enclosed restaurant downstairs, open air patio upstairs. True, not exactly a vegetarian place, but there is a huge vegetable soup with lots vegetables in it. I ate here 3 times with friends and family, and people enjoyed the shrimp dishes, the grilled fish, and the Cuban lechon (pork). A great choice in Esteli, a few blocks south of the main square on the street that goes in front of the cathedral. I have actually eaten here for years, every time I am in Esteli.
