Visited this establishment several times during our stay in Santiago and was never disappointed with either the food , the drink or the atmosphere.Amongst the dishes we had were fish, pork, vegatables, and wonderful pastries.I would without doubt visit here again for an authentic taste of Galicia.

Santiago Kyoto

After trying all of the other sushi places in town (there's not many - 3 in total) Santiago Kyoto became my favourite. Loved the udon noodle soup with mushrooms and two big tempura shrimps on the side. The noodles were cooked perfectly (not too soft not too hard) Also had a 41€ sushi and sashimi platter which was very tasty and fresh. Will definitely come back. The only set back is the price which is expensive for Spanish standards - but on the bright side they have a "Menu" which is like a meal deal, including delicious food, drink and dessert for a more inviting price.

Markesa Izakaya

After a morning sightseeing in Santiago de Compostella we were debating where to lunch when at a convenient corner near La Salle parking where the car was, we saw an intriguing sign "Izakaya Gallega". Well being fond of the Japanese pub food outlets in the first part of the name we decided to give it a try. Best decision for ages. Great food - Japanese style but with local ingredients. Super service from two knowledgeable staff one of whom had spent time in London so spoke perfect English. A really refreshing change from the excellent Spanish food we'd been enjoying up until then. High recommended.
