Reviews on Japanese food in Oldsmar, Florida, United States. Oldsmar is a city in Pinellas County, Florida, United States. As of the 2010 census, the city had a population of 13,591. The Oldsmar name dates to April 12, 1916 when automobile pioneer Ransom E. Olds purchased 37,541 acres (151.92 km) of land by the northern part of Tampa Bay to establish "R. E. Olds-on-the-Bay". The name was later changed to Oldsmar, then to "Tampa Shores" in 1927, and finally back to Oldsmar in 1937. Ransom Olds named some of the original streets himself, such as Gim Gong Road for Lue Gim Gong.

Hot Tuna is fantastic.! The quality of the fish is phenomenal and the service is on point. As a frequent sushi eater and âsushi snobâ, this place is great! Tuna and salmon super fresh and a great selection of regular and specialty rolls. This will be my new sushi spot in Tampa. Hands down...great place!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND

This restaurant has a good local vive, locals interaction with owner and attentive wait staff. One thing to know is it is a small space and accommodates 30 to 40 people, so it can fill up in a hurry. The food is very good in quality and flavor; however I found the portions to be quite small. If you want a lite and tasty flare then this is a good choice. If your hungry, not so much. As it is good to know they are then on staff, which is fine for its size, but is the crowd comes in fast, you will find your self waiting. I had the Ocean Spray....very good!

Iâve avoided this place as itâs in shopping center with ALDI supermarket and Ross Department store. Very impressive establishment, very friendly staff, very clean facility, large menu selection of sushi/sashimi, tempura, udon, teriyaki and curry dishes. They run lunch specials here too. Plenty of parking.Pricing is very reasonable for lunch and most lunch dishes are accompanied by a very tasty piping hot cup of soup and a small salad, also very tasty. Mine had lettuce, a cherry tomato, carrot shreds and sliced cucumber in it topped with a carrot/ginger dressing. I tried the Pad Ke-mao noodles and requested spicy for seasoning. It was excellent! I will definitely return to try the sushi here. The plates I saw that other patrons had looked fabulous.

You rider your food from a touch screen when you walk in. The server will bring your drink cup out and food shortly after. The chicken in the broth less ramen was a tad dry. The spicy pork ramen and egg rolls were perfect. I will be back again.
