Best thick crust Sicilian pizza I've eaten. Extremely fast delivery. Delivery drivers are very friendly. My hotel was next door and it took about 10-12 minutes to receive my order. Call center lady I spoke with each time I ordered was extremely nice as well. Great local place to order from or dine in. This isn't like most fast food joints that offer speed over quality, you get both here consistently. I ordered 3 nights from them and quality was always consistent, fresh and tasty. They have a full menu of tasty Italian foods in addition to pizza.

Brunello Restaurant & Bar

Brunello Restaurant & Bar is a premier dining experience in downtown Parkersburg at the Blennerhassett Hotel. The menu features a flavorful mix of Italian, French & American cuisine, fresh ingredients, distinctive appetizers, and handmade pastas and pizza

I have now visited Brunello 4 times since it opened a couple of months ago after a big remodel. Once was for breakfast after a night at the Blennerhassett hotel, once (on opening night) for dinner inside and twice more because we wanted to hear the band on the patio. (Watch for Jake Eddy's trio, he'll blow you away!)We had dinner on the patio and you'll feel like you're in a much bigger and more cosmopolitan location that good old Parkersburg. The food is very good and if Emily is there, you'll have outstanding service with a personal touch. She is just exactly the kind of person you'd want serving you food at a place like Brunello. The food is very nicely prepared and delicious. I really liked the salmon dinner I ordered. Desserts can sound a little bit unusual, but be brave, you will love what you order! The praline ice cream is my favorite, but my friends have raved about the bread pudding and the lemon dessert. OH! and one really nice addition to the new restaurant, the fire pits on the patio. A great way to warm up when it gets chilly, and what a cozy place to sit and chat with friends or listen to outstanding live music. Have a Bailey's and just soak up the niceness. Heel gezellig! I can't continue this glowing report without mentioning a bit of a disappointment on the first night. I really wasn't very happy with the remodel, I had loved the old Spat's. The new decor includes an open kitchen, and I suppose some people like that. The bar now has a tv at every table, not exactly what I'd like if I was having dinner with friends, but again, they didn't ask me. (I'd have eliminated all the TV's!) Probably these things were done to appeal to a younger clientele, but probably my least favorite thing.Thank you for taking the time to share this feedback with us about your experience while dining at Brunello Restaurant & Bar. We are glad to hear that you enjoy the new menu items and additions we made during renovations. We always appreciate hearing from our guests and hope to have you as our guest again soon. All the best, Amanda MGuest Services Manager

Colombo's Restaurant

Colombo's Restaurant is a family owned Italian Restaurant established in 1954. We offer Italian and American cuisine with dine-in and take out options. Stop in for lunch or dinner!

This was one of the worse meals I have ever experienced! We went to Colombo’s with a group to celebrate the holidays and were very dissatisfied! We have not been there for a couple of years and now we realized why! The food and service were awful! I ordered the Prime Rib which was advertised as 12 ounces and ordered it rare with a baked potato with butter and sour cream and a salad! My salad came and it was just lettuce and nothing else and no dressing! I told the server and was told i will get your dressing! After another reminder my dressing came 10 minutes later and everyone else was done with their salads! Mr Prime Rib arrived and what a disappointment! The meat did not look like Prime Rib, and more resembled a flank steak and I bet it weighed no more than 6 ounces! And what was worse it was well done and the server said the tag says medium rare and would not replace my steak! Now the final straw, I never did get my baked potato and I reminded the server 2 times! My wife got Lasagna and it was at best OK and exceptional! We will not be back!

Napoli's Pizza

Two of us went there on a Sunday around 11:00 am and ordered a very simple meal, pizza and cokes. It was also well before the Sunday rush so we thought our order would come out fairly quickly. There were also only four other customers there at the time also, but we were shocked to have to wait 45 minutes for our meal. No apologies or excuses were offered either. A week later we stopped in on a Wednesday late in the afternoon, well after the lunch rush. We ordered the same exact meal again. There were only a few tables sat also, so maybe, just maybe the prior week was a fluke. Nope! This time it took 40 minutes to get our pizza. No excuses, no apologies or offer of what the heck is going on in the kitchen was given. We love this restaurant, but this extreme amount of time that they are making their customers sit and wait is just too much. Hopefully they'll get their act together, but until then we'll be going elsewhere.

Hugely disappointed that we were not able to try this pizza, as it has so many good reviews. BUT ... there is absolutely no indoor dining. There is a small patio on the side of the building, next to a road, which means it's essentially surrounded by blacktop. There is no full overhead cover, like an awning, nor are there even outdoor fans. Even in good weather, sitting by the side of a roadway is not optimum for eating a meal. No one in their right mind wants to sit outside without cover when it is almost 100 degrees outside (or rainy, freezing, etc.) I fault the owners for not making it VERY CLEAR on their website that there is NO indoor dining. Take-out may be fine for those who live a few minutes away, but there is no point in ordering a wood-fired pizza and then have to drive 20 minutes to eat it somewhere else - it will be a cold, sodden mess by then.

Food was very good. This was our 2nd time here. So we ordered some different from our first time. My husband got the steak sandwich minus the mushrooms, I got the pepperoni pinwheels and then we got cheese breadsticks for our grandson. It was all very good. And definitely had left overs There are so many things to pick from. It was hard to choose.

I got into town late and wanted to find someplace close to my hotel. This one was recommended by the hotel people. It was after 7:00 when I walked in. I was talking with my server and she said that the buffet was still available. I looked at the options and everything looked good except for the pizza (looked like it had been sitting a while). My server asked what I like on my pizza and she had one made to go on the buffet!. It was out and still hot by the time I finished my salad. Some of the other entree's were cool, because of the time. Their menu includes some Lebanese dishes I'll try next time I'm in town. My server was great and I enjoyed my dinner. With a beer my bill was just over $10.

A really good stop, the food and service were both excellent. The eggplant parmigiana was the best I have ever had. There was plenty of parking and seating available and the restaurant and rest rooms were very clean and well organized. The serving staff was very prompt and friendly too. Great place when you are in this area.
