Love this huge sandwich and we get one every time we go into this store. The bread is crispy on the outside and chewy inside. They put on thinly shaved Italian meats with provolone. And you can add fresh sliced mozzarella and regular or spicy giardelli mix. So good!

We reserved a table for four adults. Arrived in plenty of time however had to wait for our table. The service was awful... We were brought the wrong bottle of wine. Our server was just not attentive. We asked for additional bread which we had no problem paying extra for and our server obviously had a problem with that saying most people are usually happy with just one. I ordered the pasta trio, the others ordered Osso Bucco. Honestly my dish tasted like they came from an Italian chain of restaurants. Overall it was a bust. Won't be going back. One more item...they need to clean their dusty chandeliers.

My companion and I were in Kansas City for an early morning meeting after which we wanted breakfast. (There are lots of options.) We chose Cascone's. It's a dependable place for breakfast, good coffee, and friendly service. Although we had breakfast items, the chalkboard list of today's lunch specials looked tempting. Very clean, friendly and consistent.

After looking for decent pizza, we were directed here. Weâre so glad, though it was Saturday night and parking was at a premium. A few blocks of walking was worth it as the restaurant was very urban decor, our waitress couldnât have been more helpful, and our pizza was great.The thing we probably loved the most was that tables were full of people who were totally connected and talking. Not one table had people staring at cell phones, oblivious to anyone or anything around them. We couldnât believe most everyone seemed to be eating their own fairly large pizza, but after ordering one to share we realized the crust was thin and perfectly done, and eating one was pretty satisfying-so we got another, but a different kind. Both were good combinations of flavors and each came quickly. (The waitress told us they baked on 90 seconds in the very hot brick oven.)After a busy day all over KC, this was a nice way to end our evening.

I love this place. Best Linguine and White Clam sauce that I've had in a long time. Enough for leftovers and then some. The Olive Plate appetizer was yummy too. The service was great and atmosphere was warm and cozy. Will definitely come here again.

Two Kansas City icons have joined together to create a perfect fusion of KC BBQ and KC Pizza. The Joeâs KC pizza is absolutely fantastic. Joeâs sauce, brisket, & pulled pork with Minskyâs crust and cheese is a dynamic combination that must be tried. The rumor is that it will be for a limited time only, so I recommend jumping on it quickly. Let me be clearâ¦this is no McRib where the limited offering is a gimmick to get you to buy this pizza. This is an amazing slice of Kansas City.The service was also great. Christopher was excellent.

Stopped in without a reservation around 6pm and ordered the calamari appetizer. Really good!! I ordered the cod wrapped in prosciutto. Delish! Waitress is training was great. Her trainer, not so much. Complained to us about having to train. What?? Poor trainee. Unprofessional. All in all I will return! We come here once a year for special occasions. The service is excellent and you canât beat a delicious Italian dinner. Everything we have ever tried has been A+++! Even the turtle cheesecake dessert. I would highly recommend making a reservation. Weâve been here on a Sunday and Wednesday night and both times the place was packed.

Wanted a special place with a special person. Knew exactly where to go and headed to the Northland. Wonderful, sunny day and the ride was worth every minute. Super staff - and is family the moment the door is opened. Shrimp Diablo, Chicken Spedini and Lemon Cake. Wow!
