Hostess, server and food were all impeccable! You never know what to think when dining in a chain restaurant at the mall. But here you will not be disappointed.Lobster ravioli, carpaccio, steak salad, bolognese and tiramisu were delicious!Love sitting outside and inside in a booth.Noticed the menu stated carpaccio had arugula and capers but this was missing from the dish. The lobster ravioli is so amazing that we wish it was offered as an entree!

Visited Maggiano's on Easter with 15 family members for dinner. Seated on the balcony,we had a good view of much of their dining room. The waitress was very personable as well as efficient. It took a while for the food to come as the place was very busy. They had a pretty good variety of entrees to choose from, and also some "deals". You could get a meal that included entree, salad and dessert with another entree to take home. There were some other deals also. Their wine list was very good. Everyone said their food was very good.

When you dine with Farotto's, whether it be in our restaurant, a few chef prepared meals-to-go, or for a catered event, you can always be sure you are receiving quality meals with world class service! Providing great food to our customers is only a half o
We ate dinner at Farottoâs on a week night, three different pastas and one veggie pizza. I like the idea that there are a nice variety of pastas on the menu, but we couldnât find any dish that we were truly excited about. Farottoâs seemingly has been built in stages over the years with no natural flow to the place. There are narrow hallways and you have to walk down through a service area to get to the back dining room. There is a nice deck, however, with STL weather cooperates. Our service was good enough and we each enjoyed a couple of glasses of wine. The red wine would taste better, however, if it were served a few degrees below room temp. Farottoâs is easy to find, but thereâs a lot of traffic on week nights around dinner time. Parking is around the back in a too dark parking lot. We donât have many reasons to return soon.

I hadn't been to Rich & Charlie's in more than a decade (St. Louis has tons of Italian restaurants) but the beau suggested it when I couldn't think of where to eat, and I am so glad we went. We were seated immediately on a Friday night at 6:30, unusual but appreciated. Brennan was our waiter and he was super attentive; excellent service. We were given our drinks and bread and real butter. It was Authentic Italian bread and warm. Their salad was unlimited (hasn't always been) and it was the quintessential St. Louis salad: romaine and iceberg with artichokes, red onion, red pepper, parmesan, and vinegar and oil, a personal favorite, and we said yes to a refill. I got Chicken Mudega and the beau got Cajun Chicken pasta with shrimp added. My Chicken was delicious, with a yummy sauce, and my side of pasta with red and white sauce mixed was great too. My beaus Cajun pasta had blackened chicken, a bit of heat, and it was great too. Shrimps were a little....shrimpy, lol, they could have been bigger. But our servings couldn't have been bigger and still fit on the plates! Portions were enough for two separate large meals. We definitely took to go boxes. Can't wait to eat my leftovers!

Roberto's Trattoria & Chophouse is rated among the best restaurants in St. Louis. Roberto's will take you on a culinary trip to Southern Italy where you will enjoy classic, traditional Italian cuisine and excellent steaks right here is St. Louis. It's the
We went to Robertoâs restaurant for the first time, and I must say that my husband and I were very impressed. We have been going to Tonyâs downtown for 30+ years and have hesitated to try a new Italian restaurant. However, after the passing on of our beloved friend Mr. Vince Bommarito we decided to try a new Italian restaurant in St. Louis County where we live. We arrived early for our 7:00 oâclock reservation, and while briefly waiting for our table we noticed that the lady at the front desk was cleaning the menus. I was very impressed by that. They may do that in other restaurants but I have never seen it. She and the owner were particularly accommodating when we asked to be seated at a table not next to a large group, as our friends who were joining us are elderly and somewhat hard of hearing. The owner went to great lengths to accommodate our request. That was greatly appreciated as we were then able hear each other talk throughout the dinner. We were very impressed with the food we ordered. My husband and I chose to split the Rigatoni Alla Vodka which was exquisite. The homemade rigatoni was cooked perfectly (all their pastas are made in house). As a frequent visitor to Tonyâs it definitely rivaled any of Tonyâs pastas. The sauce was delicious and the âgoodiesâ in it, lobster, shrimp, and mushrooms were delicious and perfectly cooked. I would like to have the same dish with extra âgoodiesâ added as an option on the menu. We then split the Veal Saltimbocca which was served with prosciutto, cheese, and a white wine/sage sauce. The dish is expected to be salty because of the prosciutto. My husband liked it a lot as he loves salt. Despite knowing that the prosciutto would be salty I found it saltier than I would like, so I will not order it again. To be fair, I do not like much salt on any of the dishes I choose. As a dessert we ordered the Tiramisu which is one of our favorite Italian desserts. It was very good. To accompany the dessert, I ordered a cappuccino. I must say that it was ok but not the best, as it was too dilute for my taste. The wine list is quite extensive and reasonably priced. We had the Chianti Classico Riserva-Gabbiano which was very good, especially after we asked for it to be chilled a bit as it was served at room temperature. As for the service, the waiter who said to call him BB or bald Brandon was great, amicable but polite, and he served the dishes at the pacing we requested. However the busboy was a little too quick in removing the dishes our friends had not finished with. To be fair, he did ask them if they were done, but as there was food still on the plates he should have waited a bit more. Obviously, there is no harm it waiting a bit to see if more food is eaten from checking a first time to checking a second time. Nonetheless, we did not feel rushed and took our time to talk to our friends. As a side note, while the waiter asked us if he could pour more wine for us, we had already poured a second glass for ourselves. It may sound snobbish but in a fine establishment such as Robertoâs the wine in the glass could be checked more frequently so that we would not have to pour it ourselves. On the whole this restaurant is definitely quite the Tonyâs of South/West County. In summary, we highly recommend this restaurant and we are looking forward to going back often and trying new dishes.

We aren't from St. Louis and had no idea what their pizza was like. When we ordered, we were warned that we would either love it or hate it. We ordered cheese bites (Provel cheese) and a small pepperoni pizza. The Provel was....interesting. I love Cheese, but wasn't a fan of Provel. Of course, that didn't help my view of the pizza because it's made with Provel cheese. The crust is like crackers. Thin and crispy. The sauce was a bit much for me and should've asked for light sauce. It ended up making me sick later and I regretted trying more than one piece. I wouldn't go back, but as she warned when we ordered......you'll either love it or hate it.

Went to a seminar at the Kirkwood Community Center and had a scheduled lunch break. I had the lunch special which consisted of a small garden salad, big slice of 1 topping pizza, and a drink for $7 thatâs a great deal for the price. I also had a side of meatballs by asking for a meatball sandwich w/o the bread. The pizza was delicious, as was the salad, my friends had the big chefâs salad and it was huge piled to the top almost falling off the plate. I would highly recommend this place as a good place and affordable place to eat.

Went here for a date night. We were the youngest couple in there by at least 25 years. The place was hot. Airconditioning did not seem to be working. Staff was delightful and gave great suggestions. This place was good, but they didn't honour our OpenTable reservations. They even had ME go to the POS and enter the gift card that we received since they didn't know how to do it.

How nice it was to enjoy dinner at Pepe's after a two year absence. Pepe's is one of the better "special occasion" eateries in this area. Service, timeliness of the dishes and attention to detail are hallmarks of Pepe's. Reservations suggested for both lunch or dinner. Prices are surprisingly moderate for such fine dining.
