Visited for lunch. Staff were very welcoming and whilst one of our group is fluent in Dutch, their English is excellent and they provided menus in English.The restaurant is nice and clean and modern. There is also an outside area that is well protected by a glass wall. We had three tasty burgers, club sandwich and a three egg dish, plus coffees for all for 80E. The food was excellent and we were pleased with the value for money. I would also recommend reviewing the artwork that is downstairs near the toilets. We had the 6 course menu. With every course we were wondering, can it get better??? And yes, it can. Absolutely stunning food, a very modern take on haute cuisine using local ingredients. The food was light and interesting using different techniques The accompanying wine just ultimate the experience. The staff was polite and very professional. To meet the chef made this visit even more special. I will most certainly come back.

This restaurant is north of Odoorn in the State Forest of Exloo very close to a lookout tower. It offers a limited menu of simple dishes for lunch and dinner. But what they serve is good quality and well presented. I ordered an omelette (with ham and mushrooms) that was delicious. The Fletcher Hotel/Restaurant in Exloo is a large scale country hotel with indoor and outdoor swimming pools. They are also the base location for the popular Eko-Tours using electric terrain vehicles. We enjoyed a decent sandwiches lunch for Euro 8,50 per person before starting our Eko-Tour. The restaurant is a bit faded glory and mixed styles, but everything still very pleasant and functional. Ample free parking is available on the spacious grounds of the hotel. It is well located relative to both the village of Exloo and the UNESCO GeoPark De Hondsrug.

Visited the restaurant on a sunday evening for a 3-course dinner. The restaurant is located in the center of Exloo and has a modern sleek interior. The staff was friendly but did not know all menu options from the top of their heead. The food was served at a pleasant pace and we had a nice dinner with good quality food.

Had the pleasure of attending a reception/cocktail party at Bussemakerâs. They could easily handle a group of 100+ participants in their bigger meeting room with bar. Also enough private and streetside parking to accomodate the associated traffic. Coffee cakes drinks and snacks all good.
