In Seychelles at a nice hotel on Beau Vallon. Wanted to stay in one night and thought weâd try the Copper Pot. The food was simply outstanding. The chicken curry, prawn curry, chicken kothu roti were all absolutely superb. The dhal and veg options were also really good. Our food was promptly delivered hot to our hotel and was really enjoyable. If in Seychelles and craving a nice home cooked Asian meal this is amazing.

We ordered a couple of veggie dishes (palak paneer and tarka dal) with rice, roti and an onion bhaji/pakora starter. We also had two bottles of water and some poppadoms. This came to â¬63 (SCR900). The bottled water was one of the most expensive things at SCR540, especially when it costs around SCR15 from the local shops. The same meal in the U.K. would cost no more than around £30 (perhaps more in London and the South East, but Iâm going based on prices where we live) so we were a little surprised when we received the bill! I had read previous reviews warning of the cost, but hadnât appreciated how much it would come to. Food is very nice and we enjoyed it. Just be prepared for the bill when it comes or maybe consider limiting the number of dishes you order to keep costs reasonable.

Good to be back after several weeks away. Good location at the water's edge of part of the Eden Island Marina, where one can sit outside or inside (air conditioned). The staff and management were as always, very welcoming and looked after us attentively. Excellent food as always and a thoroughly enjoyable meal with friends and family. Highly recommended.
