Best stay in Praslin
Reviewed By SatyendraS_12We stayed here for two nights and enjoyed every moment of our stay. Property is located on Grand Anse beach and has private access to beach. Beach is one of the bests in Praslin. Restaurants and supermarkets are at walkable distance. “Valle de Mai” is approximately 4.5 KM from the hotel. Property has been recently renovated and hence rooms are other amenities are very good. Rooms are quite spacious and clean. Staff members are very warm and welcoming. We interacted with staff members Mrinal & Tarun and found them very friendly and helpful. Mrinal is property manager and is extremely professional and welcoming person. He helped and guide us on of how to travel in Praslin during our stay here. They also serve free breakfast ( if included in packages) which is not buffet but with few options to choose. I will highly recommend this place to someone looking to spend some time with nature and loved ones.

Lovely stay at Bliss
Reviewed By Sue DWe stayed in a Garden House room, near the beach, and close to the restaurant and bar. The room was kept spotless by the cleaners, but the lighting in our rooms was not great. We were at the side of the building, on the ground floor, so had no privacy, as there was a lot of people walking past the room, staff and guests alike, which meant that if we were in, we needed to keep the curtains closed most of the time. Staff are lovely, very friendly and helpful. Food is good, although the menu is a bit limited, there is also a "specials" board, and they are catering for large numbers of people of all nationalities, so it's fair enough. Prices are good for Praslin island, but everything is priced in Euros, although most places on Praslin seem to be priced in Seychelloise Rupees. The downside? 1. The hotel card payment system does not work properly, so do not expect to pay your bill by card. I had a last minute rush to the bank to get cash to pay our bill, 20 minutes before my airport taxi was due to arrive. 2. Chipped mugs and plates at breakfast, and you are expected to keep the cutlery you used for your starter for your main course. Come on, guys, buy some new ones, this really lets you down. 3. Hotel cats - guests are asked not to feed them, but they are all in need of a decent meal, and probably neutering before they are overrun with them. 4. Seaweed on the beach, but they can't do anything about that. 5. Mosquitoes, again they can't change that. Would I go back? Yes, overall we had a great time.

The service is very professional ! We would love to come back here as it is a peaceful place to stay, well located and very clean! They also welcomed us in a very special way for our honeymoon :)

V blízkosti je take-away a obchody. Pod hotelem se nachází banka vč. ATM. Ubytování poskytuje výborné snídaně a má milý personál. We stayed in a beautiful large apartment with a fully equipped kitchen and a large balcony. There was working air conditioning in the room. The bus stop is right in front of the hotel. There is a take-away and shops nearby. Below the hotel there is a bank incl. ATM. The accommodation provides an excellent breakfast and has friendly staff. Nelíbilo se · Pokoje byly špinavé a zaprášené. Ve sprchovém koutě se nacházely staré zbytky mýdla, vlasy a chlupy. :( Toto nám celkový dojem z ubytování hodně zhoršilo. Na stropním větráku bylo šíleně moc prachu. Sprchový kout příliš netěsnil, takže po sprchování jsme měli v rohu koupelny potopu. The rooms were dirty and dusty. There was old soap residue, hair and hair in the shower. :( This made our overall impression of the accommodation much worse. There was an insane amount of dust on the ceiling fan. The shower didn't seal very well, so after showering we had a flood in the corner of the bathroom.

A well run hotel with a very nice pool
Reviewed By robinkE555KLA small hotel with only twelwe rooms. The hotel is well maintained. We stayed in room 3, next to the pool, with one king size double bed and one single bed. They also provided us with an extra single bed. Spacious room and bathroom. Fridge, A-C, wifi, everything up to standard. Daily cleaning service. Great service, very friendly and helpful staff and owner. Good breakfast (included) with eggs, toast, pancakes, fresh fruit, milk and cereal. One of the highlights was the pool, big enough to swim in (15*5m) and an absolute must in the afternoons and evenings. We loved everything about the hotel except the coffee (awful) and dinner (mediocre). However, the food here was no better nor worse than in other restaurants on the Islands. Located a few minutes walk from the town centre and beach. A small shop just outside the hotel and a take away restaurant 2 minutes walk away. About 10 minutes by car to the north (taxi 150 SCR one way), there's a restaurant called 'Le Parisier', serving the most delicious pizzas.

Reviewed By VisbeDon't go here! The place seemed good on the pictures but the place was awful. We booked this place and we could not open our luggages because of the insects. We had to book another hotel off the beach. The road to apartments was dodgy at it's best. Service was helpfull until we decided to leave within 45 minutes. Luckyly we found another place to vacate us. Would not go here eaven on bagpack trip. Room was awful! This place is not on the beach, it is in the woods. All the recommendations are fake!

The door lock to the main door did not work and after complaining 4 times nothing was done so i had to sleep with an unlocked door for 2 nights from 8th to 10th November 2019 and no discount was given. I had to keep all my valuables in the rented car.

Fab stay
Reviewed By Janette HWe had 3 enjoyable nights at Amitie Chalets. Each morning you had a beautiful stretch of beach to yourself for a warm swim. We stayed in the 2 bedroom chalet and it was very spacious and clean. There was a complimentary breakfast starter kit of eggs, bread, juice etc, which was nice. The chalets is next to the small airport, which I didn't know was there until I saw a plane coming in to land. The complex was quiet, the gardens well looked after, which was what we needed as we were the only guests at the time. The area is quiet, a bus stop a few minutes walk, local supermarket approx 20 mins. We used public transport and it was ok to a point, but would suggest a car especially to get to some of the beaches. The wifi, air con and ceiling fan worked well. Karl and Chantel were excellent hosts and I would highly recommend them.

A nice place to stay on Praslin
Reviewed By Ugo0902My wife and myself stayed on Praslin for 6 nights at La Tourterelle, located at Grand Anse, just out of the centre of the village. The place is nice, just 200 m from the beach. The beach at Grand Anse is sandy and very wide. The sea is calm and the water only very little deep (not more than 50-60 cm). It is very good for children or for peole who likes walking into the water or relaxing on the beach, while if you like swimming or snorkelling, it is not suitable. The bus station is about 10 mins walking and there is a footpath besides the road, so it is easy to walk till the bus station. All the buses on Praslin stop at Grand Anse (lines 61, 62 and 63). Bus service is regular during the week days (though not very frequent) while durin ght week ends is decidedly not frequent. The lodging at La Tourterelle is very confortable, clean and brand new, in very good shape. We got an apartment with a kitchen a bathroom and a bedroom with a large balcony outside where we could stay at all times since it is always in the shadow. The view from our balcony was not expectional, but we had chosen on prupose this type of lodging because it is cheaper. Anyway, do not expect to have sea view from any of the rooms at this lodgind. There cannot be any room where you can see the sea from, because of the reach vegetation just behind the beach. So, there is no chance that you can see the sea from the lodging. The host is a very polite lady, always promptly available to help you with any need: if you wish to rent a car, she can provide it directly for € 45 a day. If you wish to arrange some boat trip to nearby islands, she also helps you and provides all services at a relatively competitive price and with high quality service. The management provides cleaning of the apartaments every day. The kitchen in the apartment is well equipped so that you can really cook your meals there in case you do not wish to go out to a restaurant. Concerning restaurants, there are two or three at walking distance, but we always ate at home buying food in one of the three supermarkets that you can reach at walking distance. In our apartment there was a telephone suitable to call free of charge any number in the Seychelles and this was very useful for calling the landlady (who does not live on the premises) for any need. Every time we called, she answered immediately and provided prompt action to fulfil our needs. Concerning instead the breakfast service that is mentioned on the web site, we have not tested it, so we cannot judge. What is good instead is that they send a driver to pick you up, free of charge, at the port or at the airport, upon your arrival (but the same service is offered at a fee for driving you back when you leave!). Anyway, all in all, I recommend this place as a very good one to stay, also considering the very reasonable price compared to other lodging on Praslin. We paid € 85,50 per day and I can assure that the place is worth this money.
