I left my first review for this place exactly 2 years ago. Having visited many times since, i thought i would leave another one. In all my time of coming here this place has never disappointed. If anything the service and value is even better. It is a credit to management. I ordered a large meal for the family and picked it up. When i got home, the food was still piping hot fresh, every thing we asked for was there and all the food was absolutely delicious. Could not recommend enough

Whilst the food here is excellent in taste and size, unfortunately our night was totally spoilt by the lack of service from the staff members. We were seated and had the appetiser delivered straight away. That was the end of the 'expected level of service'. We then waited and waited and waited, finally catching the eye of a waitress who came and took our drink and food order. Then we waited and waited and waited again. Finally, after one of our party went to the counter to find out where our meals were, the waitress arrived with the rice. Then it was another 5 minutes before the main meals arrived hence the top layer of the rice was cold by this time. The meals were delicious and we enjoyed them. When we were finished again,we waited and waited and finally a waitress came and we gave coffee orders. At no stage did she ask or offer to clear the table of the dirty dishes and these sat on the table for a good half hour. Finally fed up with this, I caught the eye of a waitress and asked her to please remove the dirty dishes. The look I received was not what I expected. The coffee orders took over half an hour to come, first two came and were consumed before the other two arrived. Totally unacceptable. We decided then and there, we would only have take out from this establishment in the future because the in house customer service was so unacceptable.

Ordered takeaway food was nice, couldn't fault the butter chicken. Tandoori Naan was different, wanted to try something different, fell apart with fillings!

The menu was ample, the menu items were standard, the food seemed to be fresh and hot, but the spices were all wrong. Not authentic Indian food at all. We had a mixed starter, 2 different curries, pillau, naan bread - but none of it unfortunately matched our expectations. It was just ok - just not really good and the spices tasted more of Ozzie curry powder rather than authentic, real Indian spices. Service was very good, price was reasonable, but food disappointing. We wouldn't go back.
