We visited the restaurant on a pre-booked basis as we were a party of 60 people. We had our meal in an upstairs room & the feast that followed was excellent.We had a leisurely meal, with various dishes coming in increasing numbers, followed at the end by a delicious drink, which I think was a mixture a ice-cream, cream & mint, but whatever it was, it was delicious.The décor was very attractive giving it a very authentic feeling.

Unique setting within the Roman walls of the town - inserted within the old cave style walls.....This restaurant was one of 4 in Tarrgona which participated in the Spanish Reality Restaurant show and was given excellent ratings - only criticism was that there was too much food in the portins - have to agree...... Really good value for money - 25 Euros included water, wine and bread as wel as 3 courses. Food quality excellent as well - service was delivered by the lady owner - very efficient but a smile would not go amiss!

We use to go to this restaurant for celebrating some special occassion. Food quality is high and the most consistent i found around here. They also have variety, so one can order with confidence meat as well as fish. It is a place for wedding and similar so the staff is very professional and attentive. The ambience is luxurious. I have a very poor opinion of restaurants and tarragona cusine but i find les fonts to be the exception. I reccomend this place without exception. PS: be prepared to spend 40+ eur PAX a la carte.

We went to this restaurant with collegues to take a menu in order to celebrate the end of the accademic course 2016-17. The menu was compound by many appetizaser such as muscles, squid, octopuse, salad with anchovies...completed with black rice paella. High quality products...kind and warm service. Reasonable price. Regional wines from Tarragona.

I dined at Alvocat during my short visit to Tarragona and had an exceptional experience trying their vegan dishes. As a vegan I never thought Iâd have the chance to try croquetas but luckily they had a vegan version, made with mushrooms, and they were to die for! For the second course I ordered the mushroom paella which was just as delicious and went beyond my expectations. Beautiful presentation as you can see in the photos! To finish off I tried their specialty dessert - vegan chocolate mousse made with avocado! Of course given the restaurantâs name I felt it was right to give it a try... and it definitely did not disappoint! I will most definitely be back the next time Iâm in town :-)
