We spent a Sunday in Tecklenberg and decided to stop for some coffee & cake at this old pub/restaurant. The location is great and we sat on the lovely terrace and watched the world go by. The cake was all freshly (home) made and the service was excellent.

Ich habe das griechische Restaurant Kreta aufgesucht, da ich an diesem Abend doch sehr viel Hunger hatte und es üblicherweise in griechischen Lokalen immer einen ordentlichen Grillteller gibt. Um das kurz vorwegzunehmen - hier wurde ich auch in diesem Laden nicht enttäuscht.Das Ambiente ist sehr schön. Es handelt sich um ein ehemaliges deutsches Ecklokal/Restaurant. Es wurde ganz schön umgebaut und renoviert, so dass es optisch auf dem aktuellen Stand ist.Der Service war schnell und aktiv. Etwas störend war nur, dass sich doch mehrere Leute aus dem Bekanntenkreis der Gastwirte vorne versammelt und an einem separaten Tisch Platz nahmen, zwischendurch immer wieder rausgingen und mal etwas auslieferten.Vor dem Essen gab es zur Bestellung gleich einmal einen Ouzo - schöner Einstieg. Das Essen war wie gesagt reichlich. Zunächst konnte man sich am Salatbuffet selbst etwas zusammenstellen. Die Salate waren schmackhaft, die Auswahl an sich könnte aber noch etwas gröÃer sein.Der Fleischteller (3 gegrillte Artikel mit Pommes) war von der Grillqualität gut, es fehlte aber bei jedem Fleischstück noch ein klein wenig an Gewürz. Da wäre noch etwas mehr drin gewesen.

Entered occasionally. The goodies , good range of food, additionally a buffet is available. We joined the buffet due to his unbeatable price. Beside good and attentive service, not Greek styled but at the end relaxing atmosphere. But- the buffet was heated for a long time on burners . Most of it luke warm, not hot. Pasta very soft, melted cheese was hard and dry. Salad bar was a nice try but not exciting. The complementary dessert was not worth to mention . Recommended when u r really hungry. U can get a lot for the money if u want

we went there.very nice and cheap restaurant.Free internet as well.A lot of local people there.you can sit outside as well.Menu is in german only.
