Reviewed By MTBChicaWhat a perfect location. Close to the woods for cycling and hiking activities. We had a renovated room on the backside of the hotel on the 4th floor. Very quiet. Modern, spacious and a nice view. Enough storage possibilities. Big beds with real German duvets. Good shower with toiletries. Spacious elevator. And a delicious spa with sauna, turkish bath, saltroom, swimmingpool and enough space to relax. Also a fitnessroom. Sauna environment is without clothing. Breakfast is super. Good coffee and a good variety bread, eggs, yogurt, fruits and meat. Try to drink coffe during the day. The cakes, I think there were 15!! are soooo good. The only thing: reception was not very friendly, one waitress was but the boys/men were also not friendly.

Reviewed By Kirsten BStaid here 2 nights dinner and breakfast included. Very friendly person at the reception. The room was nice and clean with great views. Very quiet. The cook decided the dinner both nights, but we didn’t need to worry, because the food was very delicious and looked fantastic. The hotel was extremely quiet here just before Christmas. The only negative was the breakfast. Because the hotel was rather empty, the breakfast was served at the table. Unfortunately it was not covered while waiting for us to arrive. The food was therefore rather dry. A bit shame. Still would absolutely recommend the place.

Reviewed By Duncan SLandhaus Sundern is a basic hotel in a pleasant rural location within 20 minutes of Munster Osnabruck Airport (FMO) Rooms are basic with bed and wardrobe. No phone, no fridge, no kettle or tea/coffee making facilities. There was a good smart TV in my room and the bathroom was excellent having recently been refurbished. There is a restaurant bar which serves workable basic food. Breakfast is usual German affair with cold meats, cheese, vegetables, yoghurt and cereals etc.

Historical, hospitable, comfortable
Reviewed By RudyTheNetherlandsWe knew Hotel Drei Kronen already for some years, but mainly as cafe-restaurant. We'd never stayed in the hotel, until now. The hotel is very historical (the walls date back 400 years) and the owner and his staff do everything possible to make your stay memorable. Apart from comfortable, spaceous rooms with superb beds, the restaurant is worth mentioning too, We had two dinners here and they were delicious!

Regenbogen Tecklenburg is located in the triangle of the cities Osnabruck, Munster and Bielefeld in the state of Nordrhein-Westfalen. The spacious plane area is structured by numerous trees and hedges and is crossed by two streams. Especially groups appreciate the tent site which is a bit remote. The family-friendly resort is a leisure paradise with an own swimming pool, indoor, outdoor and children's pool, several water slides, a spa area of 250 square metres, BMX track, skating rink, minigolf, sports grounds, beach volleyball and knight's castle playground. Our guests have the possibility to rent bikes for explorer tours into the beautiful surroundings of the holiday resort. And in case the camping stove does not work properly: We will always warmly welcome you in our restaurant ,,Das Landhaus" in half-timbered style where you can enjoy good and regional cuisine and excellent wines.

Reviewed By Vic BA chance visit to stop over for two nights. Just happened to be hosting a medieval festival. Great what a bonus. Site was very comfortable but then at 41.5€ per night I would expect it to be. Absolutely no criticism of the site or he staff, except for the chap in the shop who charged double for post cards. But when my wife mentioned this at the office she was reimbursed.

Cheap but rough!
Reviewed By Georgepb1This ‘hotel’ needs major investment or at least some TLC. We made a last minute booking as a stop over on our journey and instantly regretted it. The only redeeming feature that this place has is it’s proximity to the motorway whilst being only 4Km away from the beautiful town of Tecklenburg. The bar/restaurant looked like it had been closed for decades. The room was stuck in a time warp, but at the price we paid I didn’t really mind. The bed was comfy enough and the shower fine. I suppose if I was really stuck I’d stay there again but I would not recommend it as a ‘nice’ place to stay.
