We have been going here for years, by far the best subs in the area, also very good pizza and burgers. Very courteous and personable staff. Priced right and many options. I have been told by many guests that sampled the subs I had brought home or to a work site that the subs were the best they ever had. Even though I live further away I find in order to get an exceptional sub or salad I have to travel to here.

Although we were warm, and had adequate lighting and running water, an enduring power outage and treacherous streets pushed our cabin fever to the point where we decided to find dinner the civilized way instead of cooking it on the woodstove.I had stumbled across the restaurant a week or so earlier, and when Casa Blanca was either closed or packed (can't remember which) we decided to give Gyro Nation a shot.Won't ever be mistaken for fine dining, but the food was tasty, portions healthy (ample but not excessive) and reasonably priced, and the service was quick and friendly.My only disappointment was settling for a pork gyro (new to me) instead of lamb (or the beef/lamb mix that seems to be more common). I'll have to try the kebab, but I really prefer the thin slices off the spit...

I think they marinade the chicken and add spices then put juicy chunks on the barbeque grill on top of green salad with excellent Italian dressing and unusually fresh Syrian bread. Just excellent! They also have salad with tuna fish which is probably 2-3 cans on one salad which ends up making like 3-4 large sandwiches on the bread supplied. Cant miss with these items as well as very good pizza and steak and cheese
