the variety of food Scala provides is plentiful to an extent that it got me and my friends confused what to order. Shout out to the owner, the proportions of the meal are reasonable the food quality is beyond excellent! the unique selling point is it delivers food, as well as the location is suitable. what caught my attention the most is the area provided and the design; the space provided there is big and there is outdoor seating place too! how can it get better than that, relaxing in the morning enjoying your breakfast under the sun or even having sitting there to study, it just cant get even better! let me tell you ladies and men the service there is superior. You wont have to wait for hours till you get your order. one last thing to mention is the cleanliness is great and the staff is super friendly. they'll welcome you kindly and are always there to help you out picking your food if asked too. it was referred by a friend, and I will be always visiting it, whenever I go to Alexandria..... very convenient place, you may not believe that there is a nice sitting area upstairs. it's true that it's always crowded, but if you're lucky you can just walk and sit, as it happens to us, twice, over two days. it offers everything, although very famous by the authentic alexandrian liver, it offers the richest menu in town, ranging from oriental grills to pasta and seafood.... beware, the shrimp pasta is very spicy be default, so you'd better tell them about your preference before ordering.

Baba ghanoush and humus out of a tin served with old toast and brioche, no pitta or khubz or eish baladi (apparently) is the gastronomic level of this place. Rather bland pasticcio and moussaka were an 'improvement'. Omm Ali undercooked and halawiyat which needed a chain saw to cut as the compacted nuts were so dense followed. Wine? just drinkable. Charming service by a veteran who may well have remembered the days when the food was memorable in Alexandria. Où est l'Alexandrie d'antan? hélas.....

I travel across the globe due to my international occupation, but originally from Alexandria, Egypt. I am very selective to where to spend my few days vacation in my home town. Definitely, this place represents consistent and elevated quality deliverables. Music is superb, up to international standards of a proper club. Manager is a well known figure in the entertainment life in Egypt with significant personal and professional achievements in such rare to find aspect in Egypt.I enjoy the ambiance and equally the services provided. Booked a table of 5 for dinner last week & in spite of the fact the place was packed we were escorted immediately to the table by the friendly waiter.Ordered grilled & fried calamari which were very tasty, grilled octopus which was very good too as well as their classic appetizers the Greek Tarama which was delicious along with Tahina , eggplant salad & Greek salad which were all very fresh & tasty.For main we chose the biggest tiger prawns I have seen for the last couple of years ( assisted by the place's manager & very good friend Ilias ) followed by a very fresh sea bass. Both were delicious & fully appreciated by the whole party.Service was good taking in consideration the place was buzzing ( National Holiday ) while the view was breathtaking!Cannot comment on the prices since my guests took care of the bill behind my back but in general prices are in line with similar standard restaurants while the quality is superior to most of them.A must when you are in Alex & feel like having some serious sea food & fish meal overlooking the sea!
