Den Gasthof habe ich durch Zufall entdeckt. Anders ist er auch kaum zu finden, da er sich in einer sehr kleinen Seitenstrasse befindet in einer noch kleineren Dorfgemeinschaft. Die Bratwürste mit Sauerkraut waren für den Ausflug genau richtig und die Aussicht von der Terrasse das eigentliche Highlight. Der Eigentümer ist anscheinend auch Brauer. Als Fahrer musste ich auf die Bierprobe leider verzichten.

Wir hatten extra einen Abstecher gemacht,zum Mittagessen.Eigentlich eine schöne alte Gaststätte,Plätze waren auch frei.Das Essen kam zügig und nach dem ersten Bissen sahen wir uns,meine Frau und ich,gleichzeitig an,die SoÃe MAGGI ,geht gar nicht!!!Ich hatte Schweinebraten und meine Frau einen anderen Braten.Wir sind öfter in Oberfranken essen,aber so etwas gabs noch nie.

I was there a few times. When I need to go from Berlin to south I always stay there.You find there very friendly owner, good restaurant and cozy rooms. Gasthof is in small quiet village, close to a9 highway. Excellent value for money. There is no internet connection.

I had 3 dinners and 3 breakfasts at Kapellenhof in May 2016. Everyone of those meals was wonderful. The food was fresh and expertly cooked.

Im Gasthaus Schenk erwartet die Gäste eine gutbürgerliche, frische und deftige fränkische Küche. Spezialitäten wie z.B. einen kleinen Schweinebraten mit Knödel uns Salat gibt es bereits für ca. 5,00â¬. Der Biergarten bietet im Sommer ein mediterranes Ambiente in ruhiger Lage, mit ausreichend vielen Parkmöglichkeiten hinter dem Haus. Kleines Gartenidyll in gemütlicher familiärer Atmosphäre zu einem hervorragenden Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

We were on a bike tour of different breweries and picked this one for our last stay. We were greeted from the drunk owner with a lot of nasty expressions. We listen to him for three minutes then said we rather go somewhere else. This made him open up with more swearing and complaining about people with bikes. We said that there are enough other places to go that even welcome bicycle riders and we were told to go there!

Hier klopt alles. Gigantisch uitgebreid ontbijt na een goede nachtrust in uitstekende bedden. Badkamer zeer goed.Ontbijt perfekt en het avondeten daar zijn geen woorden voor zo goed als het is. De eigenaren zijn geweldig in de omgang met hun gasten. Altijd een babbeltje en geven informatie en zoeken zelfs dingen voor je op. Geweldig, Geweldig.

War vor kurzem mit meiner Frau und meinem Sohn nach einem Waldspaziergang beim Essen. Uriges, sehr bodenständiges Gasthaus. Innen renoviert. Sehr gutes Preis/Leistungs-Verhältnis, nette Bedienung. Ein Wirtshaus, wie man es fast nicht mehr findet.

The Ratsstube is in the center of the town of Pegnitz, an authentic non-touristy German town in Franconian Switzerland. Rooms are large, clean, with comfortable beds and bedding. Free internet access. Friendly staff. Breakfast is included with a selection of yogurts, granola and cereal, cold cuts and cheese, eggs, breads and fruit. A perfect evening snack in the restaurant is the flammkuch, which is like a pizza. Each easily serves two. My favorite was the one with smoked salmon. Nice to wake up to the sound of church bells. You walk out the door into the town center of Pegnitz with nice little shops, bakeries and a home made ice cream place.

We were there for dinner, it was really amazing about quality and quantity of food. It's really worth a visit here, we are very often in Germany and this place is on the podium for the best food. Meat is something special. Price is average: about 30 euros for two people.
