On our way back from the King's Castle, we were starving as we had skipped lunch to tour the castles. Alpenstuben Buching popped up as a viable option for our very late lunch (or early dinner) as we entered the Bavarian Dorf of Halblech. Alpstuben Buching is a quaint Bavarian Inn that boasts excellent local cuisine and rooms to accommodate weary travelers. The restaurant offers a moderately-priced menu of local dishes. The portions are quite generous and delicious. Simply stated our meals were "lekker." Although the indoor restaurant and bar looked inviting, we opted to enjoy the day outside under one of the umbrella-covered tables. The service was good, and our hosts were very accommodating. I knew what I was doing when I ordered the local Gulasch. I thought it woud be excellent... and it was. The meat was tender, and laden with subtle hints of paprika and majoram. Since I was driving, I limited myself to a few sips of the local beer. Loved it!The outside dining offers an excellent vista of the looming Alps and rolling foothills. Alpenstuben Buching would make for a memorable romantic weekend with someone special. This fine little inn comes highly recommended.

Es gibt Augustiner Bier, eine angenehme ruhige Terrasse mit schönem Blick und ein gutes Essen.Ein toller Spielplatz ist nebenan, der FuÃballplatz ebenso.Preis Leistung sehr gut.

We had a birthday dinner there. We had a great dinner there, but the baguette served with the steak was very greasy. The salad buffet is very fresh and tasty

We took the 3 course day menu for ⬠17.50. The quality of all courses was excellent. Further, the portions were such that it was also a healthy meal, sufficient and not overdone. The meal went beyond standard Allgäuer Küche. We will for sure come back here.

I don't usually judge harshly, but this visit was pretty unpleasant.We arrived late at around nine and asked if they've still got warm food for eight. As they affirmed we seated outside around a nice big round table and i. So far it was pretty relaxed.However, in the moment of ordering several dishes got excluded due to the late hour. This erased almost half the menu. After everybody decided, each dish was served one after another. Some were quite good, some (e.g. a burger) pretty small.The atmosphere got a little cranky after a second dish was ordered. This one then even arrived before some of the others One with bread had mould in it and after pointing it out the waitress brought some new only after dispute and emphasizing that the bread is baked fresh weekly.To give a résumé: the sum of lacking foresightful service, huge difference in remains of the promoted menu and mouldy bread led to a very disappointing experience in displeasing atmosphere.

Wir waren nun 3x bei Willi und waren jedes Mal begeistert. Er kocht klassische, gehobene Küche mit sehr gutem Fleisch. Die Sossen sind überragend. Der Service ist ebenfalls sehr gut. Die Inneneinrichtung empfinden wir als sehr ansprechend. Ganz klar ist das Restaurant die Nummer eins in Lechbruck und Umkreis 30 km! Allerdings sollte man auf jeden Fall reservieren!

......gehen wir immer wenn wir in Lechbruck sind auch hierher zum Essen. Wir sind zufrieden mit der Auswahl, der Qualität und von Christinas Service. Sehr nett und liebenswert. Ich kannâs empfehlen. Es ist innen neu gemacht und man kann im Sommer drauÃen sitzen.

We found this restaurant by chance. Service was very good. Wiener schnitzel were very good, as well as Kaiserschmarrn. We got a half portion of them as dessert. As weather was nice we could eat on the terrasse. A very nice dinner

We had a business dinner here on the terras because the weather was beautiful and I must say the view on the mountains is as stunning as it can get. Absolutely superb. As the full area of this hotel. The food is not expensive but also not super good. The fact that the menu is so big with so much different things is often a reference of the way of cooking, preparing and materials people use. Here itâs the same. Besides that did we had to wait always long. Before we could order, before the did bring food to the table etc. Even the following order of delivering with the arrival of the table was not followed. So. Do I come back. Yes for the view and the atmosphere. Not for the food.
