My wife insisted we go into this restaurant because it looks nice. Well actually it doesn't just look nice but the service is also super-friendly and the food is simply delicious and well-priced. We however recommend to make a reservation ahead. We went there on a Thursday evening and it was full. However the friendly waitress organized a table in another room and we got whatever we wished: drinks, food: fresh and plenty of salad, delicious Gebhard plate, Schmankerlteller, .... everything tasted very well, was in good sized dishes and the price was very reasonable. Not to forgot the service, who, despite the full place, took excellent care of us so we didn't miss anything.The interior is typical German restaurant, the bathroom is small, clean and has whatever is needs to have.

Der Schmauserhof ist ein echtes Schmuckstück - das hatte ich bereits in meiner ersten Bewertung geschrieben.Seitdem sind zwei Jahre vergangen und wir hatten endlich einmal wieder Zeit den Schmauserhof zu besuchen.Das Ambiente und die Freundlichkeit in diesem Haus sind Wirkich beindruckend.Dieses Mal durften wir im ersten Stock im groÃen Gastraum Platz nehmen. Alle Speisen waren ausgezeichnet (Rinderfiletspitzen, bunter Salat mit Bratkartoffeln, Schnitzel) und der Service war immer freundlich.Neben dem guten Essen ist es wirklich beeindruckend mit welcher Liebe zum Detail dieses Anwesen renoviert wurde.Gerne wieder - vielen Dank für diesen schönen Sonntag.

During our week in the Altmühlthal, we ate twice at Millipp. The food came highly recommended by trusted friends and we concurred. The total dining experience was a bit less enjoyable. On our first visit, the dining areas were at full capacity. On the second visit, tables regularly became available. The food was excellent on both occasions, and the service marginally unsatisfactory - but friendly.Millipp is not just a restaurant, it is also a hotel and a butcher shop. There is a synergy among those businesses. All are under one roof and each contributes to the whole. All are tastefully designed and make for a pleasant experience. Alas, I fear that the understaffing is also a function of the synergy.Still, we recommend at least one visit for the excellent food - which is not only Bavarian.

Auf einer Fahrradtour haben wir zu viert hier gegessen. Alle waren mit ihren Gerichten sehr zufrieden, besonders die Desserts haben groÃen Gefallen gefunden.Der 5. Punkt kann nicht vergeben werden, weil das Salatbuffet nicht dem Ansturm entsprechend ausgelegt ist. Wenn hier die Rheumadeckenbesatzungen aus 2 Bussen über das Grünzeug herfällt, wird schnell deutlich, dass man sich bei der Aufnahme solcher Massen etwas übernommen hat. Schlange stehen für sehr durchschnittliche Salate, nein danke!

Very nice place with good food and huge portions, the kids "Schnitzel" is probably more than most grown ups can handle. Excellent beer and great service for a very reasonable price.

As another reviewer pointed out, the food is a cut above average and the service a cut below. We have eaten in other restaurants in Beilingries and found them a better value. Still, we recommend the Fuchsbraü.
