My mother came to visit us for a week in Yangon, and requested to eat here three times - including a final dinner before heading to the airport. The staff is incredible, the atmosphere very comfortable, the food delicious (don’t miss the salad with truffle dressing), and the GM very welcoming. What most impressed me, however, was the one time I ordered something that I didn’t like - the staff immediately replaced it and the chef came out after our meal to chat - they really are invested in making sure their guests have a great experience.

Located close to The Lady’s former home along the University quarter of Yangon this was supposed to have been a British ambassadorial house. Evident from the shady porch and the many rooms that have been decorated in various colours and styles it’s what I would call Burmese Costes. The service is prompt and attentive. Taste and presentation is paid attention to. Surrounded by artifacts and sepia toned female photographs one could imagine being in a diplomats’ banquet. Dear Choobengg2017,Le Planteur's team is thrilled to hear such good feedback, we’re proud of our colonial house and decoration which makes Le Planteur a unique place in Yangon! We feel elated that you enjoyed the service, the food quality and the food presentation. We really hope to welcome you soon again !Best Regards,Eugenie

With loads of people on the team, and everyone busy, this place has some big attractions. The menu is quite extensive: everything but pork. There are some appetising local cuisine offerings as well as Thai and Indian. The mathematics embedded into the floor tiling is quaint. The wait staff are dressed immaculately and the big team seem to all get along very well. This place was recommended by the hotel, for good reason.

Tried for lunch.Positive1) If your looking for a quiet, homey, and rustic ambiance then Bodhi Nava is for you. Good for those who loves to read and work in cafes2) The atmosphere is not your typical restaurant. It has a hostel on top.3) The choices are more healthy than not. Perhaps 90% are healthy choices making it more attractive to vegetarians but at least they have chicken selection.4) The servers speak good English. The owner, Bo, was there. You can always expect personalised service from her.5) The location is a charming neighborhood around the Shwedagon Pagoda with old houses surrounding. Negative1) The Tea Leaf Salad was quite salty.2) I was not able to try the toilet but hopefully its decent and clean enough.3) It closes early at 6:00pm. Couldn’t think of anything negative because the restaurant vibe was good.Recommended.
