Nice little seafood restaurant in front of the sea in Barcaggio. Food is good but prices are too high (fresh seafood is generally expensive but the actual quantity of seafood does not justify the price of some dishes of this restaurant). Friendly service. Good wine list at reasonable prices.

The people working there are SO friendly and helpful, especially as we don't speak French. My entrecote was perfectly cooked at medium rare and I don't know what they do to make their chips taste so terrific.You sit inside an area covered in vines it feels really cosy. Even going in to pay the bill is fun, having another chat.A very good night out.

This place lives from its location in the sand on Plage de Meria. It offers pizza and various BBQ from the wood fire. To be fair we only had the pizza. The fish and meat looked very nice. Pizza was a bit too soft for my taste and puristic in ingredients. Some pizze arrived without cheese, others without tomato - I guess all correct by the book for a napolitano or a la paillote yet alas. Which brings me to my criticism which is the service: it's ok if both sides don't talk the same language, we have all been there. But the waiter gave us the impression of being annoyed about our lack of French (which was superior to his command of any language), which is just sad. Overall ok because of location, certainly not a must go

We stopped in Macinaggio on our trip from Bastia to Cap Corse and went to have lunch in this restaurant. It was not a luxury one, but very nice, the waiter was very kind. But we first had to go to nearby ATM (cash machine) to withdraw some cash because they didn't accept credit cards. The food was good, not expensive, the tables in the shade and a nice sea view.

Nous ne sommes habituellement pas des adeptes des paillotes (loin de là !) , mais celle ci proposant des soirées "concert Corse", nous y sommes allés 2 fois. Très bien accueillis avec un menu unique spécial pour les soirées, nous avons très bien mangé et passé 2 très bonnes soirées . En plus au niveau tarif, ce n'est pas abusif : 25 euros concert compris.

Stopped off in Maccinagio whilst touring the Cap Curse and was looking for a light lunch when we found this place - perfect! Fabulous range of wraps, entrees and deserts... a real find and far cheaper than anywhere else we could find around the marina.

Attractive little dining area that's so close to the harbour that it's practically part of the harbour itself. Tables nicely prepared and formulated, more so than most in the town. Kitchen is across the road. Hardly anyone in when we visited so the glum, but smart, young waiter wasn't overstretched. We were lured in by a board indicating that pork plumas was a speciality of the day. Not too sure what it was but tried it anyway. Cue three small pieces of feathercut grilled pork sharing a plate with a bounteous amount of fresh lettuce and a strip of crackling. Additional pot of skin-on chips most welcome. All consumed but nothing special. However, did enjoy the dessert; white chocolate and rum fondant with a noticeably orange tang. MRs EPR's rich chocolate mousse seemed equally enjoyable.The big, cheerful proprietor popped over the road a couple of times to see how everyone was getting on.There are probably more beguiling dishes than our choice to explore on the menu and the location is certainly very striking. We'd be happy to try here again.

the restaurant is well located at the centre of the village overlooking the port. the wood firdled oven indicate a chance for a good pizza - not so.Other plates good such as the melon and parma.place is fairly cheap

In july we made a part of the walkingtrip "sentiers de douaniers" and after an hour we wanted to make a small stop for a cold drink at U Paradisu. We looked for a table for two inside the restaurant because the lack of shade outside.but from the bar a man was asking us if we had the intention to eat lunch. Because it was 11.30 AM , we only wanted to drink something. In that case, the bartender told us we could drink outside our Coke ( in the sun with 30 degrees!) Or we could stay at the bar..... we were shocked by this service because only 2 tables were occupied with drinking guests. When we left the restaurant, we asked for the bathroom but a very unfrienly girl told us there was no bathroom.....yeah right!we would not recommend this place because of the lack of service and the unfriendly staff!!

Nice location, in a garden. Service ok, there is an open barbecue where the fish is grilled which is very cosy. thry have plenty of live lobsters and a good selection of fresh fish (despite the village lacks of fishermen and of fishmongers).however,the starters were so and so, we ordered a large grouper. it was very tasty but overcooked.the drama happened with the lobster spaghetti, we left the spaghetti in the dish and we ate only the lobster. Probably we should have tried the grilled lobster instead. the spaghetti tasted only of tomato sauce, the lobster was dry. Pls look up on Google for the right lobsyer spaghetti recipe.a bien tot
