A very large group of us ate here recently following a family christening. Although the building looks old and traditional from the roadside once you are in the dining room you soon realise this is quite a modern restaurant. The food was excellent, although it did feel like the meal was served at quite a slow pace (hence the 4 stars). This might be a French thing though. Would thoroughly recommend this restaurant. Lovely food and wine. They had organised us a cake and it was amazing!

Perfect lunch stop on the way to the Alps. Pull off peage at Juct 22, take the D road alongside, stop for a good lunch and then fill the car just down the road at the supermarket before going back on junc 23. Four courses for 12 euros including buffet starter, choice of mains, I had duck, cheese, choice of desser, annd either beer, wine or mineral water. Forget the price, great food.

Discovered this restaurant on tripadvisor (2) reviews. Since the restaurant at La Chamiere, where we spent the night, was exceptionally closed, we had our dinner at La Petite Auberge. From the outside, you hardly see it is a restaurant. It is rather small and has a limited number of tables. Once you are inside, it is as if you were in another century! The service is done by a very friendly old lady, of whom you get the impression that she is a member of your family you are visiting. The home made "terrine" is put in front of you....all of the dishes are home made. Much to our surprise,we had a "plateau de fromage", not some pieces of cheese, but the plateau as in good old days! Service is so charming! Since it is a small restaurant, you soon have contact with the other guests, forming after some time a little family. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and certainly will go back there in the future.

Lovely hotel with a funny Pirate ambiance, perfect combo hotel and amusement park, service is great so are the personnel. Many activities for kids, especially for Halloween celebration, the whole hotel is very well decorated and a Magic show. Welcome back to childhood. The all-inclusive buffet offers a varied and extended choices and the must is that you can help yourself as many times as you want, what a dream! Good price/quality ratio.

Lunch special was a large, fresh plate of salad, a fish steak with a pot of rice, Creme brûlée and coffee...maybe 11euros? Had never had raclette, so ordered it. Interesting, tasty. A pasta dish was less successful, bland.Service was good

Chef Gerald Colier made us an amazing meal at his restaurant, we had risotto, steak and a wonderful apple tart for dessert. But the next night, he came to our bed and breakfast to prepare evening meal with cooking demonstrations for our large group. This meal was wonderful from start to finish. Watching Chef Colier cook was a fun experience and his love and passion for excellent was transparent. We had a wonderful fish dish to start and then veal roast for the main course followed up with a decadent chocolate mousse. Amazing!

In a business trip in the area, we slept in Bar sur Aube for one night. Our hosts from Paris invited us to this interesting restaurant. Definitely above the average for the town, we really enjoyed eating at the Le Cellier. Unusual location (and not necessarily very easy to find), the food was excellent. Service a bit too slow taking into account the number of people having dinner at the place. Certainly suggested if overnight in Bar Sur Aube.
