My fiancee had been dying to have some quattro formaggi during our stay in Italy because she has become addicted, and Pisa was our last day of the trip and we stumbled upon this place to try it. It was a very nice pizza with friendly and engaging people serving behind the counter, and it didn't cost very much to have a pizza and a few beers! Since this is on the main tourist route to the leaning tower, I would not have been surprised if this crowded place did not live up to expectations, but it was a pleasant surprise.

This place has a nautical theme, including pirate flags. I was a little worried that it was a biker bar but apparently not. Foccacio was good, did not try rest of menu. Service a bit lax but friendly enough.

This place was recommended by Hostel Pisa Tower and it is definitely a jewel in the little town of Pisa. The service was great and you have a wide range of sandwiches to choose. The bread is fried and it is a very old traditional recipe from Tuscany. Just try it! It is open until late.

All they had was chicken gyro that was dried out by 2 pm... food was mediocre and needed to be doused in sauces to be good.. we eventually made it taste good with additional things but I would NOT recommend people come here to just have halal when they were in town near Pisa- NOt worth it.

This subway is situated almost beside the leaning tower. As they charge into toilets around the area it's worth going in here for a coffee or a sandwich and using their facility. You will have to queue only one toilet for all the customers. Also an outside area where are you can sit in the shade. Subway is a subway is a subway,very little difference all around the world. Tiny place but reasonably efficient even for a Subway. staff speak reasonable English and pointing is always the international language of everything

My partner & I read the reviews on TripAdvisor & werenât disappointed! The pizzas were well worth the wait! Delicious flavoursome pizza! I had the tomato, basil & oregano & my partner had the egg & bacon based pizza! Ingredients were so fresh!!! The wait was quite a while - maybe 45 minutes but if youâre not in a rush, would definitely recommend! We found this sandwich shop a short walk from the main attractions in Pisa. Very friendly staff, great selection of tasty sandwiches, nice choice of wines. We had the vegetarian and the Porchetta with Brie, the â¬4.50 recommended wine was delicious. You can take away or eat in, no extra charge, we highly recommend this restaurant for lunch.

Had the ragu and the pasta with ricotta and eggplant. Lovely friendly service, price cannot be beaten (at â¬5 each). The pasta was cooked to perfection, however I found the sauce a too salty for my liking. Definitely worth a stop on the way back from leaning tower.
