Had the ragu and the pasta with ricotta and eggplant. Lovely friendly service, price cannot be beaten (at â¬5 each). The pasta was cooked to perfection, however I found the sauce a too salty for my liking. Definitely worth a stop on the way back from leaning tower.

We ate twice a fantastic diner, real honest Tuscan cuisine, a lot of Italian (local) customers there and a very friendly host Giacomo, who speaks English very well and guides you through the menu. If you want to taste good local cuisine, you cannot miss this one!!!

This is a real gem! It's a specialist place for Italian cured meats. We had the mixed platter for two and it was fantastic. Best I've tasted! And since less common varieties as well. Staff were really friendly. He even went next door to get my wife some hot water! Now that's service. A must try if you can in Pisa.

I really enjoyed spending time in Melabevo. Decent prices and extremely nice staff. Bar offers snacks and a variety of delicious drinks. Reccomend it to everyone who wants to have a sip of Italian coffee or a fun night out :)

Randomly picked this place for lunch on the drive to Pisa. A varied menu, with a large selection of game. I had the recommended wild boar, which had an excellent meaty taste with a perfect savory sauce, large portion, at a reasonable price. I doubt that I'll make it back, but would definitely recommend this to a friend.Note that the location on the TripAdvisor map is incorrect and the town is Migliarino (Pisano). Use the map on the restaurant's WWW site.

Fantastica la pizza con nduja e melanzane, gustosa, non pesante e impasto giusto. Tornerei per assaggiarne altre. Prezzi di bevande considerati un p più alti del previsto. Nel complesso ci tornerei se capitassi in zona. Cameriera cordiale e alla mano.

We ate at this establishment while on a European motoring holiday. We were told by the locals that this was THE place to eat true authentic pizza - how right they were. Service was brilliant throughout. No artificial/ frozen/ ready made/ pre-prepared produce at this place. Everything is fresh.Our pizzas were cooked to perfection - the size of them being in a word - HUGE. The taste ?Everything on the base was cooked to perfection, each ingredient came through, enabling you to enjoy the wonderful flavours. The dough base was absolutely perfect.Highly recommend this place - definately one for the world gastro map.

We had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant. I was not sure if all the hype in the reviews should be taken seriously but after two weeks in Tuscany, this restaurant stands out as the best food we had the entire time. The muscles were exquisite, my spaghetti Vongole was exceptional and my husbandâs pizza was extraordinary. Iâm running out of superlatives to describe our evening there. Just GO!!

We were really impressed with Cantina Vasari. The menu was select, service excellent and quality of the food superb and all at a reasonable price. A smaller restaurant than some nearby that provided that personal level of service. Deserves a strong recommendation from us!
