A large group of us were well-received by Sharky's, with abundant but pretty ordinary Mexican food in a very noisy atmosphere. One orders at the counter, and food is brought to the table. The seafood dishes were good.Although I appreciate you mentioning that some of the dishes you had were good, I'm saddened that you weren't fully impressed with your meal. Loved, loved the ice cream. At first I thought the price was high but I was in the mood for Coffee Chocolate Chip ice cream.I ordered a single scoop, they put 2 1/2 scoops on my cone. I asked if that was the single and they said yes!Ice cream was delicious, definitely going back.

Visiting family out in southern California, we had the pleasure of being taken to lunch by our adult niece who is also vegan. This is one of her favorites and we could see why. Great variety of tasty menu items and a new method of accumulating points to provide for economical meals in the future. Even though her aunties are carnivores, we found wonderful meals to enjoy here also, much to our niece's delight.

My wife and I tried the Blaze Pizza on La Paz, and the one in the Mission Viejo Mall. We could not believe how good it was. You go down a Subway-type line picking out everything from the dough to the toppings. No extra charge for as many toppings as you want. The next surprise was how quickly it was ready -- about 3 minutes. The fire inside the oven is generated by gas, but the taste was off the charts. I don't know why I spend time with anywhere else. Price for each 11" pie is under $9.

Baja Fresh is one of my favorite fast food restaurants because the food is always fresh and made with quality ingredients, the staff is always nice and professional and the restaurants are always clean. You can't go wrong! This location is not as busy as others, as it is in a strip mall, so there's not a lot of waiting and usually plenty of tables. I like the shrimp avocado menu items, but everything is great and be sure and try their mango salsa.
