White Castle

You can see this place as you come into town from the interstate. We stopped in for lunch and were very disappointed. The service was fine but, the burgers have gotten very small and just don't seem to have the wonderful flavor they used to have. You would think for the price they charge, $.91 each in a combo special, that they would have gotten better. My wife got a fish sandwich and a chicken sandwich and they were also smaller and tasteless. Sadly, we have made our last visit to the iconic Castle.

Zaxby's

We usually like zaxby's, but the salads we ordered had wilted lettuce throughout. When we asked for fresh lettuce, the cook defended the lettuce and said it WAS fresh. They went to the back to get fresh lettuce which was only a little less brown and wilted. The service date on the iced tea, both sweet and unsweet, had expired service labels by 1 1/2 hours. The toast was cold and had way too much salty seasoning.
