the friendliness and the warm welcome that people from La Palma give you are only part of the charm of this restaurant.Food is excellent. A touch of creativity on traditional dishes. Improving the quality of service would help to increase the already good rating of the restaurant.

Perfect for lunch and dinner for couples and friends. Ideal for parties too. The food is excellent prepared with fresh meat, fish and vegetables. The service is professional and friendly. The value for money is very fair.

8 scruffy soaking wet walkers arrived in mid afternoon and the chef said no problem. Very elegant ambiance, welcoming staff, made to feel we were welcome guests, fish options fully explained and no pressure to order despite late arrival. Service impeccable and not intrusive. We had a variety of starters and main courses. All well presented. The portions were surprisingly large, very tasty and the waiter remarked on the clean plates we left!! This was one of our best eating experiences in the Canaries. Pity its so far from the UK.

La Isla de Goya, tapas - bar where you can enjoy different dishes to share, from tostadas, salads, portions ... and of course different tapas. New suggestions every week!!!
Stumbled across this place during the Carneval (which basically involves talcum powder being thrown over everybody within range) after finding no space in nearby places. The aubergine with honey sounded interesting and was an excellent choice, even though I thought a mistake had been made when it arrived, as it looked like lots of small fish, battered (and I don't eat fish). It was delicious and decidedly different...and I hadn't read the reviews recommending it in advance, so it was a fine choice.Reasonable prices and good service, and right across the road from the beach, should you fancy a swim afterwards

This restaurant is the |No. 1 in Santa Cruz, according to trip advisor. What a find! (it certaily took some finding as it is hidden away near lPlaceta Square). It's tiny, sitting 14 at a squash. The lady in charge tells you what it is on the menu (this takes some time). It is always fresh food, freshly cooked, and changeable daily. It is organic and non dairy. There was soup, several salads for starters, fresh tuna, pork, vegetarian lasagne, and tagliatelli for main, and puddings were ice cream, mousses or sorbet. Wine was excellent, and with coffee, a bottle of brandy was left with shot glasses, and a box of chocs. Three hours later everyone (english, german, finnish and danish) was merry and chatting. A wonderful evening.

I don't understand the fuss about this restaurant. It's recommended everywhere (internet, guidebooks, hotels), so despite mediocre reviews on tripadvisor, we decided to go there for dinner. The building is nice, but that's all I can say. When we entered the restaurant there was nobody else having dinner, just a few locals having a drink at the bar. Even though the waiter saw us arrive, he didn't greet us. It then took quite some time before we received menus, and after that the waiter never returned. He was very busy though chatting with locals and watching football on tv. It felt like they clearly didn't want us there. After about 15-20 minutes of being ignored we decided to leave. Perhaps it's better for lunch, but our dinner experience was bad.

tA great restaurant tucked away but not too far from Santa Cruz. The food was quite memorable served on a table barbecue. What a feast. The service was brilliant and there were no signs of commercialism. the waiter was very polite and the cost very reasonable. Would certainly recommend this excellent restaurant.

Fresh Fish and Seafood · Neat Wine Selection Our restaurant is located in one of the most beautiful and quiet places in the island of La Palma, the town of San Andrés. Our terrace, in the plaza of the Church of San Andrés Apostol, stands out for its tranq
Family lunch for four adults. Stopped there while we toured La Palma. Nice restaurant with good service. We ordered salad and garlic prawns and garlic mussels which were very good. Bread look like very old and not fresh. Fishes for three of us were good together with Canary potetos. My wife had beef which was just OK. Coffee was not good. Paid 85 Euro.

Our restaurant is a family business, located in a beautiful place on the island of La Palma (Spain) in which you will find peace and tranquility. Regard to the kitchen, we are dedicated to offering a range of dishes from the Canary Islands (wrinkled potat
Must admit that we heard about the place in a TV program about La Palma in which it had been warmly recommended, otherwise one might miss it in the small town of San Andres as there are two other restaurants nearby. We definitely didn't regret to stop by, trying some of their specials (La Placita salad and stew made from goat...) with a view at San Andres... Nice! It is great that you found our restaurant thanks to Andrea GrieÃmannâs documentary (WDR) âLa Palma-Zauberinsel im Atlantikâ.Thank you very much for visiting us.
