Well situated on the main road, in amongst other eateries this bistro offers a traditional French menu based around excellent local sea food, There's a small external terrace to the road front and ample seating inside.Excellent staff and inexpensive for the quality on offer. We were drawn by the 'Fish and chips' advertised on the A board and we were not disappointed.Hello and thank you for your comment. 2 lovely British couples eating fish and chips, this was an excellent reference! Hoping to find you soon to taste our other specialties like the lobster roll ... Choice of wine adapted of course.I wish you the best.My best regardsBertrand..

We came here for the very first dinner on our trip and were were not disappointed. The service is very friendy, the location is simple but enchanting, with a beauriful view over the sea. The food was tasty and had a typical french taste. Interesting was also the local cheese plate, which is not "typically" something we would have tried in Bretagne.Happy to recommend this restaurant without reservations. Booke a table at the window.

One of those rare "gastroshacks" (OMG I MAY HAVE INVENTED A CONCEPT) with delicious locally made food, bistro style, rich portions and excellent quality ingredients ...right off the Saint Lunaire Longhamp digue. Probably one of the best spot for lunch in the region. The view is unbeatable. Book ahead and do not let the camping furniture mislead you: the posh locals eat there and will have their table reserved !

We enjoyed a tasty sea food platter.Usually you have to order this dish 24 hours in advance but due to a cancellation they had the ingredients.Lucky for us,it was delicious. We also had a super dessert and the coffee was excellent,a good end to a fab.lunch.The staff are friendly and seem to take a real pride in the restaurant. The lunchtime set menu also looked good and was great value.

We’d been reluctant to try this restaurant because it seemed more pretentious than anything else, but we were pleasantly surprised. The restaurant is quite over-staffed, with every served being very enthusiastic about trying to speak English, even when unnecessary...But don’t let that frighten you away! The food is far better than average, the wine list extensive & not budget-breaking, the area for children to play & make new friends is WONDERFUL, and the desserts perfect!A keeper!

Hmm. What to say? The hotel is indeed charming and in a lovely position on the sea front. The terrace is well positioned and popular. But. Half hearted weary check in. Had to climb over discarded mattresses and linens to get to our (admittedly nice) room. What spoils it is the service on the terrace. Off hand. Rude. Slow. Not a thank you to be had. For the first time in 10 days on France we felt unwelcome. And it is more than 2km walk into town. Not the 1 the hotel claims. So bear that in mind. On the whole, disappointing. Look elsewhere. Dear Mister curryFirst of all, thank you to take your time to give us your impression, we will appreciate that you told us when you checked out, about the check in, if you saw the linens on the floor, it's because you arrive in advance and we gave you the key before the check in time, and we don't put on the floor the mattress. In the restaurant I'm really disappointed if you get this feeling our team try to do the best to satisfy all of our guests. And to finish, when you ask how far is the old city, we are speaking in time and not in km, the distance is about 20 minutes walking it depends the sense of the windBest regardsAnne

Deux Degres Ouest

Due to the reviews we expected a lot from this place. In retrospect we realize: some things were good, many things were not. Both appetizers were disappointing, the ravioli watery, the beetroots close to tasteless. Of two times calf one was massively tough. The pre-ordered dessert was sold out at the end. Conclusion: disappointing.Dear Francis, First of all thank you for your review. Your remarks imply an answer from us.The ravioli (which are 3) are not "watery". They came on plate with a celery water wich is a full part of the receipe. It's a shame that you didn't undersand that as it is written on the menu. The beetroot may not been your taste but how could be a beetroot tasteless ! It's marinated into red wine sauce and comes on plate with sour cream spum, smoked duckling breast, wild peppers mix and fines herbs ! Maybe the beetroot wasn't what you expected as you asked our waitress many times "what is a beetroot ?" ! I'm also really suprised about one the calf beeing "tough" as both of your pieces comes from the same animal. Nevertheless you didnt asked us for another one we would had been pleased to prepare again especially for you. Finally, again, we aplogogize that the chocolate dessert you pre-order wasnt avaiblable but I personnaly decided to don't serve it as it didn't meet the quality level that I impose on kitchens.
