Man sitzt auf der Terrasse sehr schön und hat bei sauberer Luft einen schönen Blick auf den Bayerischen Wald. Ich habe eine frische Forelle verspeist und dazu gab es Bier vom Fass. Die Bedienung war nett und freundlich.

We have visited restaurants owned by this family for many years, and they have always impressed us with their service and quality of the food. Highly dependable and the pizzas are some of the best you can find anywhere.Good parking area. For evenings booking is highly recommended. as everybody knows this is a good place to eat and natter.

Despite my difficulties with my poor German language skills, Patricia, the landlady of this lovely hostelry and Inn, could not have been more helpful and courteous. The potato soup was delicious and for main I had a Bavarian version of a mixed grill that included all sorts of locally reared or grown meats and vegetables. Several helpings of dark Weiss bier augmented a thoroughly satisfying evening as I wrote my travel log until the inevitable effects of the beer impaired eye to hand co-ordination! One tip: they only took a German Visa card so make sure you have cash or at least check first. Luckily I saved any embarrassment by checking and went to a cash point several km away before the dinner!.

Lunch in this traditional German Hotel and Restaurant was excellent. It was a beautiful summer day and we sat at the secluded garden terrace at the back of the hotel. Service was professional with a good choice of regional food and excellent wines by the glass.The Wiener Schnitzel and Pork cutlets with cheese Spätzle were very good. Very generous portions.

We never miss an opportunity to visit this excellent restaurant and we are obviously not alone as there are always lots of tables occupiedby locals and visitors. Situated across the road from the forest railway station and about 5 minutes walk from the centre of town it is traditional in decor but the food ranges from traditional to modern. Try the salads or as I do make sure the main course you choose comes with a salad and the dressings are wondeful. The service is friendly and good to see them in the traditional "Dirndles".

This Restaurant was recommended to us while we travelled around Zwiesel by a friend. Original place and atmosphere, we had Caesar salad, Vegan burger and Saibling. All fresh food, which we accompanied by recommended wines. It is nice to see a place where they are not using frozen food and preparing everything themselves. Prices are fair and balanced. Wir waren hier schon das 2. Mal und haben wieder sehr gut gegessen. Preise absolut in Ordnung für die Region. Tolles, reichhaltiges Salatbuffet. Ãbersichtliche Speisekarte. Rinderschmorbraten schön rosa. AuÃenterrasse liegt zwar an einer StraÃe, diese ist aber nicht übermäÃig befahren. Wir kommen wieder, es schmeckt uns und gefällt uns hier. Familienfreundlich - extra Kinderkarte zum ausmalen und Spielzeugkiste!

Traditional home cooked food with delicious fresh beer. This restaurant is small and kind of hidden behind a tree. Our hotel recommended we eat here and we were glad we did. I had a New York Strip Steak (Rump Steak) with fried potatoes (brat kartoffel) and a yummy salad. My husband had the Weiner Schnitzel (Schwein) with french fries (Pommes) and a salad.
