Good quality food in the traditional Bavarian Style. Reasonable parking area. Sunday lunch time is very busy and it can be hard to find a table. Peak time 11.30 to 13.00

Ich war hier zwei mal, es war beide male schön.Das Restaurant ist gepflegt, schön eingerichtet und sauber, dass Personal freundlich.Die Karte ist nicht sehr groÃ, aber die Auswahl gut und das Essen lecker, da ein etwas gehobeneres Hotel angeschlossen ist, ist das Restaurant natürlich nicht Discountbillig, aber auch nicht überteuert.

Lovely hotel, with amazing car sitting in restaurant upstairs. At end of meal Waltinis entertained with his magic show - very good (still don't know how he did these tricks)

This Restaurant was recommended to us while we travelled around Zwiesel by a friend. Original place and atmosphere, we had Caesar salad, Vegan burger and Saibling. All fresh food, which we accompanied by recommended wines. It is nice to see a place where they are not using frozen food and preparing everything themselves. Prices are fair and balanced. Für unser Familientreffen (13 Erwachsene und 4 Kinder) entschieden wir uns für den Waldgasthof Greipl und trafen damit die richtige Wahl. Sehr schöne Zimmer, ein tolles Restaurant mit einer für uns perfekten Küche, freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal. Hier passt alles. Man merkt, dass Familie Greipl ihre Gäste am Herzen liegen. Die Pension ist ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für die Erkundung des Bayerischen Waldes. Ruhig gelegen, also Erholung pur. Wir waren sicher nicht das letzte mal hier.

Wir waren hier schon das 2. Mal und haben wieder sehr gut gegessen. Preise absolut in Ordnung für die Region. Tolles, reichhaltiges Salatbuffet. Ãbersichtliche Speisekarte. Rinderschmorbraten schön rosa. AuÃenterrasse liegt zwar an einer StraÃe, diese ist aber nicht übermäÃig befahren. Wir kommen wieder, es schmeckt uns und gefällt uns hier. Familienfreundlich - extra Kinderkarte zum ausmalen und Spielzeugkiste!

Thunder clouds and the first rain made us step inside the Gasthaus. Friendly staff. Even though it was very busy we found a table for 2. A new beer to try was the Wolferstetter. really good. Could not resist the salads. There was also live music.

Traditional home cooked food with delicious fresh beer. This restaurant is small and kind of hidden behind a tree. Our hotel recommended we eat here and we were glad we did. I had a New York Strip Steak (Rump Steak) with fried potatoes (brat kartoffel) and a yummy salad. My husband had the Weiner Schnitzel (Schwein) with french fries (Pommes) and a salad.

Sind durch Zufall hier gewesen und waren zufrieden. Ich hatte Jägerbraten mit Pilzen und Spätzle - sehr gut. Der Gastraum ist einfach, die Bedienung war sehr nett. Einziges Manko, die LED Kerzen. Nehmen mir persönlich die Gemütlichkeit.
