From the moment you step through that big beautiful, architectural hand crafted (by the owner) door, you are in an enchanting European influenced space. Everything from the front door to the bar was hand built by the proprietor. The food parallels the exquisite elements. Creatively constructed dishes served on innovative plating are impressive. The unique salads, appetizers, mains and desserts delight seasoned diners and the balance of the menu satisfies those who have a more simple palette. Coffee maker alone is the price of a small car and makes the best cappuccino Iâve had this side of Toronto. Service was impeccable. Delightful. Informative.

Almost a mismatch between the atmosphere and the food and service. Well, the food was outstanding on par with some of Oakvilleâs top restaurants and the service was even better. However the place although cozy and relaxed with an air of friendliness lacked some thing. I donât know maybe music or higher end furniture. Any how it is a great find right there in the middle of oakville downtown lakeshore area.

Went for lunch to support the downtown restaurants while the road construction is happening. We sat on the patio, the chairs are very uncomfortable, hard small metal chairs.I had the seared tuna salad, the greens were not properly inspected and there were some mushy slimy leaves. Four fine slices of tuna, one quail egg and about 4 beans. The spaghetti was tasty but a small portion. The best part of the meal was the creme brûlée. Wow - that reply from the restaurant is clearly anything but in accurate. Service was horrible....new waiter had no idea what he was doing, table was turned over to a more experienced waitress. Served my salad with no silver ware - waited 10 min - to get some, only to be informed that the table behind me was equipped with silverware, guess I could have searched around for fork and knife but whatever. Time between visits - painful to say the least, my beer(s) ran empty for long duration (all 2 of them), food was delivered .....nobody came by to check in afterwards to see how things were, or if maybe someone wanted another beer/drink. Made a simple complaint about our food and being cold, wasn't addressed with a smile, but drilled with insult and overall sense of 'yeah whatever' and encouraged to write a tripadvisor review.....well here you go x 2. There is way too many restaurants within a walk from this place to even re consider it. Had to give a dot for the review - but not deserved. Looking to spend your restaurant dollars where their appreciated....don't go hereAttention readers,This inappropriate review has been reported to authorities. We at Nino's do not tolerate this type of disrespectful behaviour. To have four adults gang up and attack our establishment for no reason, is disgusting.Sorry to everyone who had to read this.ThanksLucia

On all three visits over the past few years the food, service and ambiance were very good. I had the porcetta/seafood special (see photo) and some in our group had the crème brulee dessert. I love this restaurant for its location and ease of parking. We had no complaints and were happy with everything.

This restaurant is charming but quite small. I would guess that it seats only around thirty people. And, it is very popular which leads to the issue of needing a reservation.While we were dining there we saw many prospective diners turned away simply due to the lack of a reservation, and we were there very early, around 5PM. I would imagine that later in the evening that this issue increases.The ambiance is fun, nothing fancy and seating areas are a bit tight. But, the food is great and, all-in-all it makes for a totally enjoyable dining experience. Prices are reasonable and the service is great.After dining, consider taking a stroll over to the waterfront and marina to round out an enjoyable evening.Adequate parking exists in the lot behind the restaurant - but take care to park in the closer lot. If you park in the bigger lot we were told that there was potential of getting towed.
