Tarn et Garonne region is ideal to boost Chef's creativity. Our cuisine at le Pont Napoleon and more accurately the hotel's restaurant La Table de Nos Fils, is based on regional seasonal products when its flavour is optimized.
The beautiful multi arched bridge over the Tarn river at Moissac is really delightful with wonderful views both up and downstream as this graceful and tamed river makes its way further downstream to it's confluence with the larger Garonne river.Nearby to the bridge is a small plaque dedicated to the townspeople of Moissac who, during WWII kept secret, hid and later spirited away to safety some 500 Jewish children away from an oppressive German army. That an entire town could keep such a secret is an astounding achievement and one that deserves much greater recognition that an small plaque tucked away near a bridge that you'd have to fight to find.

Went in for a coffee on a wet August market day in Moissac.A really very pleasant bar/ restaurant with a good ambiance and pleasant staff. The menu looked interesting and I will report back when I have lunched here!Very good coffee and a really nice typical French bar.The market was really good, mostly growers selling their wares.

Stopped in for a drink with a view to eat. Great quiet spot on the river, and they are making an effort. Bit slow to get a glass of sparking each, and they proposed Prosecco. It was flat, but we decided to quickly drink and move on. Could we get the bill? Asked for it and an ashtray arrived shortly. Various other activities, so we stood at counter and asked again. Eventually the bill arrived for 14â¬! Probably twice what they paid for the bottle. When we said it was flat, they reduced it to 10â¬. Hopeless. Hate to think how much the menu is.

Called in here on a busy lunch time after a walk along the local canal. Despite being very busy with lunch guests, the staff soon found us a shaded area to sit and enjoy a well earned glass of chilled Affligem. The restaurant offers great views out over the river but we were more than happy sat in the shade on a very hot day. Relaxed but polite service added to the enjoyment. Overall an ideally placed restaurant with great views. Recommended.

Celebrating a significant birthday with dinner here and a big party of 26 didn't seem to worry this well run, establishment. Losing count of how many times we've been here now but it hasn't ever disappointed. Charming service, high quality fresh food all home made dishes ensures a great experience. Looking forward to the next time.
