We were very disappointed. We took the degustation menu with selected wines, and with speeds of lightning dishes and 'corresponding' wines (which didn't really match) were 'served', which means simply added to whatever was still at the table. At one point we had 2 dishes and 3 glasses of wine. It was ridiculous. There are way better options, even for the price.. No explanation about food.We were quick because, as we discussed before sitting, we need a table en in an hour and a half and and we have left you half an hour more, modifying all the reserves of the second shift. The tasting menu has 4 dishes+dessert (19.50â¬) and the wine pairing are 8⬠for person. We believe that wines are well pared and 5 dishes every 25 minutes it's ok. We are sorry if you need more time and if you don't like the wine pairing.RegardsElisa

We travelled with a group of colleagues, this was our last dinner in Valencia and must say probably the best. All Tapas we had was great especially the fried cheese with strawberry jam. Main courses very good meat well cooked and tasty, they prepare their T-bone steak in front of the guests - very nice and tasty too. Wine was perfect, prices are reasonable. The staff speaks good english and all people there were very nice. The level of service very high. Would definitely go there again.Hi there Jakub_Kintan! We feel so lucky to have clients like you! Eramos 11 personas para cenar 4 niños y 7 adultos. Le pedimos al camarero cenar en la calle ya que los niños juegan en la plaza y mejor para todos. La terraza de lo más normal del mundo con sillas y mesas de plastico y apartados bien lejos del restaurante parecÃa que estabamos cenando a la puerta de alguna casa.La carta en una tablet era incomoda de ver , los platos fueron saliendo algo tarde unos de otros. La cena estuvo bien y algun plato nos sorprendió la forma de presentarlo como el rabo de toro que era como un canutillo relleno de carne. Al final nos tomamos unos gin tonics, y nos iban recogieron sillas y mesas, con ganas de despacharnos cuanto antes, total que alguno quedó a medias.

Ordered cappuccino and got terrible dissolved coffee drink with sweet cream. One gets this type of coffee in an economy class airlines on short haul flights. Ordered croissant and they brought a halved bun with a bunch of chocolate pasta. Who asked for this pasta?

This was not quite what I expected from the reviews but good nonetheless. This little bar is in the student district so is priced accordingly. No frills, but pleasant service and good food. Worryingly cheap wine, but actually quite drinkable! Am sure there are plenty of better tapas bars, but if you want good food at a reasonable price and are not looking for neighbourhood ambiance then this is a find.

Nice and quiet restaurant inside contrary to the busy, noisy traffic along this thoroughfare. The Gastronomo has been high in quality since the day they opened. They have a traditional menu but offer foie, duck, and tender lamb chops, among very well executed steak tartare ( my husband's favorite). Their rices are usually delicious. I say usually, because we have always had them so, but with rice, one never knows!A nice place to celebrate something. Tables are not too close.They also offer free parking in a small private garage just around the corner, but call to get exact address as if you are not familiar with the entrance you may pass it by. Easy access if you are coming down from Barcelona. Turn right onto Primado Reig. Bus 89/90 also stop nearby, I believe. This is a few blocks north of the Viveros Royal Park and Museo de Bellas Artes.

We booked this restaurant for our wedding anniversary while staying in Valencia. On the morning of our meal, we got an email/whats app message to confirm our dietary needs. My wife is allergic to shellfish, which I already confirmed to them, and I re-confirmed this again when replying to their message.When we arrived at the restaurant, they reconfirmed that they knew my wife was allergic to shellfish. We both ordered the ten-course "Ricard Camarena" tasting menu but were then advised that my wife couldn't have it due to her allergy and they could not substitute some of the dishes with a non-shellfish option. She was advised to have the seven course "Synthesis" tasting menu.This resulted in her having nothing to eat for long periods which is not acceptable. We have been in other fine dining establishments before and they were always able to accommodate my wife. This restaurant was told numerous times about her allergy but were completely inflexible and unable to meet the needs of the diner. The FAQs section in their website states that they can adapt their menu if they are given plenty of notice and if the allergy is not too severe. Many people have an allergy to shellfish and it not considered unusual. To compound matters, they then proceeded to give my wife a starter containing squid which can be considered as shellfish with people with a shellfish allergy. They did replace this starter with a second dessert but as with some other courses, I was eating on my own. Ignoring all the above, the food was extremely underwhelming but we did find a nice bottle of wine to try to rescue the night. When we ordered a second bottle, we were told they did not have one so we had to go look for another bottle.Overall, we were extremely disappointed and were glad to leave.

This is a place where local Spanish go to eat with quality traditional Valencia dishes. I visited this place with a group of friends because of the recommendation of our Spanish language teacher in Valencia. The food was very good and service excellent! Definitely recommend!

We visited as a family for lunch towards the end of our stay in Port Saplaya and wished we'd done so earlier. The staff were absolutely delightful, so welcoming and particularly delightful with our young grandson who absolutely loved his meal, as did we all. The menu del dia was excellent and such good value - three courses for Euro12. Absolutely excellent!
