Little lunch (rotier) restaurant on the country-side. The menu changes every day, fresh french cuisine with a twist.
It's expensive, and no real choice for food or wine. The atmposhere is not just quiet but uncomfortable Maybe some music would help. The grain was excellent but the duck was tough. Many places are much better, offer more choicesand much cheaper!Hello, after reading your review i thought it was better not to react, but now we are three months later and I still think about it.. So here we go: I honestly think that you are talking about another restaurant, this is why:We are a restaurant who serves only lunch (with a formula of 13â¬50 all in, entree-main cours-cheese- dessert-coffee and one glass of house wine)Almost everything we serve is home made. Eversince we handle such a low price, we can't serve duck! We always have a minimum of 20 customers per day and there is always playing music. I have 7 sorts off red wine à la carte, in different price ranges. In the menu you have a choise between 4 entrees, 2 main courses and 5 desserts plus a plate of 5 different cheeses of witch you can serve yourself. So for al these reasons above, I'm a little surprised to read a comment like yours.. Ofcourse you have the right to your opinions, but we cannot claim this is an expensive restaurant..Thank you for reading and I hope you will have more luck on your next restaurant experience..Julie

We have eaten here many times. Decided to have a long Saturday Lunch, in celebration of my partner's birthday. Pushed the boat out and had the Plaisir des gourmets. Absolutely phenomenal. Cannot say anymore. Karin and Laurent have a exeptionally fine restaurant, which is our favourite in France!! Allready looking forward to our next visit.

As soon as we walked into this wine shop-cum-restaurant I knew it would be good. Lovely staff, nice simple set-up and loads of excellent wines by the glass, bottle and to take away. We had some delicious snacks - including some black pig prosciutto. A hearty bowl of lamb stew with sweet potato and two great desserts, which included discs of thinly sliced sharp apple with crumbled goat cheese and honey. Odd but worked. Anyway we loved it all, drank some delicious light Loire red, bought a case of wines to take back to the UK and would happily return. Book ahead at the weekend.

At the end of such a small place as Belleme, this restaurant was a great find. A small menu to pick from, all the food was great to eat and looked great. The multiple interludes between courses were a treat and throughout the service was efficient and friendly even though she was alone on the floor. Well worth a visit, and I will return again.

Do not pass this hotel by if you are in the area. Our stay was extremely pleasant with a comfortable room and an amazing dinner. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive and the surroundings are peaceful. No problem accommodating our wee dog either. All in all, a lovely place to stay.

The Relais d'Horbé welcomes you for a brief stopover or a longer stay in the heart of an exceptional site. Located in the centre of a historic village perched at the top of a national conservation area, we can guide you to remarkable spots in the surround
The Relais dâHorbé serves dinner in a formal dining room, and has a Brocante, an entire room devoted to antiques and collectibles. . Owner Martin Barray also provides a true pub-type bar where you may sit in a relaxed atmosphere, eat, and share a glass of vin rouge with him. while talking about the affairs of the world, both in and outside of the Perche. Or you may simply check your email on the internet access he provides there. All in all, it is one of the coziest places we have found in Le Perche..

Between Xmas and New Year it is always tricky finding restaurants that are open...so this was a lovely surprise. We visited the village on a trip to Normandy and found this restaurant open! Yippee-We had a good meal, freshly cooked and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The scallops were fresh and perfectly cooked and the desserts simple but good. Good value for the price we paid. The restaurant is quite lovely-brimming with lovely paintings, chandeliers and charm...I recommend it wholeheartedly.Thank you indeed for your compliments.Laurent
