Slightly unkempt from the outside but the fixed price menu included plenty of variety (including vegetarian) and the food for all four of us was very good.The restaurant was busy on a Tuesday night yet the service was efficient and friendly. I would recommend it.

Finding restaurants like this tucked away I a quite neighbourhood of Merignac is what visiting France is all about. The restaurant is family and couple oriented. There's a great welcome when you arrive into surroundings of traditional and modern. We tried the Chef's menu which was 3 courses and an amuse bouche all for â¬35. What a bargain for a. Saturday night. Good wines are available by the glass.The a la carte menu looked very tempting as well but it is tough to beat the Chef's menu. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

We were thrilled to find this quiet spot for lunch. The terrace is peaceful and shaded. There were two lunch options, apparently it changes daily, probably based on what is fresh and in season. We started with the most delicious gespacho ever, then a lovely salad and a huge dessert. The service was excellent. Would definitely go back and certainly recommend it!

What a gem!! I had an amazing dinner at this very pleasant and not pretentious restaurant and will definitely be going back for more. Ordered a "menu" which began with a starter salad that was close to being a work of art. Ingredients were obviously very fresh and the presentation was first class. Could not have been better. For the main course I selected a fish dish that was served on a bed of black risotto. I was equally impressed with the presentation and it was totally delicious. The glass of rose' wine was really quite good and a bargain at less than 4 euro. The dessert was just as great as the rest of the meal. Service was very friendly and helpful and I didn't even have to use google translate as the waiter knew enough English to help me choose.Overall an excellent meal and the total with a glass of wine, a great cup of coffee came to about 27 euro. Add in 3 euro tip and it was 30 euro very well spent.

Nous avons passé une excellente soirée. Accueil chaleureux et plaisir des yeux et des papilles ! Les spécialités portugaises ont la part belle. Entre amis ou en famille pas de soucis tout le monde est le bienvenu. Seul petit bémol les plats sont un peu trop salés c'est dommage. Mais adresse à retenir.

I would highly recommend the Restaurant Les Criquets. We had an absolutely fantastic meal there yesterday evening.The food was exceptional, the presentation a work of art. We had a 'tasting surprise menu" with foie gras, lobster, lamb and a variety of ice-cream. Each dish was served with an excellent appropriate wine.It is no surprise that this restaurant is a Michelin restaurant...well deserved.The staff were discreet, highly professionnal and more importantly, very welcoming and pleasant. We had the 6 course menu. Flavors superb and the service exceeds all the expectations. Instead of having different wines, we choose an amazing Saint Estephe, Haut Marbuzet...Unfortunately we did not have the opportunity to see and thank the chef.Great moment for family Memories!!!

2 golf courses with 18 holes eachThe vignes are quite easy but the Chateaux are quite difficult because long It is the best golf course in france for competition and also its reasonable use of water Try but do not hesitate after to go to the spa of the hotel and have a massage !For beginners there is a well known golf academy Best place to learn and enjoy also !!!!

On our biketrip in France we had the plesure of staying at your hotel Le Point Bernet for two nights. We highly recomend this hotel, with terrace and pool facing a beautiful forrest. We were welcomed with a friendly, natural and relaxing atmosphere that makes you feel extremely welcome. Food and Wine were outstanding and the service was magnificent. If we experienced any problems we were met with the greatest understanding and help. The highest and warmest reccomendations for this hotel from Denmark - Leif and Yvonne Petersen.
