Food was a struggle in small towns especially for vegetarians in Iceland (us). This meal was not only the best meal we had in Iceland, it was one of the best meals we have ever had, period. The portions were so big I wish we would have split one plate and gotten an extra salad instead because we were so full we could barely walk. Dessert is also divine and not to be missed. Wait staff attentive, and every detail was carefully planned out by this superb team. Make reservations. We would have gone again if we had one more night in this area; it's that good.

We stopped here for dinner and came back the next day for dessert. We stayed close by so it was an easy walk. The staff we incredible. Polite, helpful and created an comfortable environment. The seating area was comfortable the food was very good. We like to try many places but had to come back for dessert.

I ate here my first night in town and considered dining here again, but thought I should try another restaurant. I regret that choice. Hotel Framnes has such sections food! The fish was delicate and the garden salad tasted so fresh! It is the best of the four places I ate in town!
