The town is the administrative centre of the municipality of Time and it is also one of the 50 largest towns/cities in Norway. Bryne's location in the prospering region of Stavanger/Sandnes and excellent road and rail links make Bryne an attractive area for commuters. The town is expanding rapidly and there have been reports of problems with schooling capacity. Bryne Church is located in the centre of the town and Time Church is located 1 kilometre (0.62 mi) east of the town.

Were there with my family, had everything fro a Hamburger to a 200g entrecote, via som pastas. On a tuesday, not too crowded, say 50% of the tables were taken. Personell is polite and observant, it is easy to get contact. Myself had a Lobster soup with srimps and crayfish, very good although the shrimps were canned. (probably the crayfish too but it did not taste as it were). My entrecote was delicious, My sons hamburger was sort of a masterpiece (Hamburgers are usually not.o)) According to the sounds an eyes to my wife and other son, the two different pastas were good. The food was neatly presented . The best part is the bill not cheap, but very reasonable.This was my second time there and I will be back.

I would come here again and again just to tuck into their delectable freshly-baked foccacia and homemade tomato pesto that they offer for free from their counter. It was a very nice touch and adds to the overall meal of healthy pasta salads, soups etc. The cafe is cosy and very nice for a lunch visit, it's always packed during the weekends so come early!

Had dinner there tonight, 2nd night in a row as staying in the hotel. I have to say that the food here is excellent. The place has a small menu and also a daily special page. last night, I had mushroom soup to start followed by a chicken dish. Tonight, I had a salmon burger with an apple vinaigrette and crème freche for starter and flank beef steak with vegetables in a red wine sauce and a parsley root cream. All meals were of a very good standard. There is a good ambience in the restaurant and the staff are very attentive. I would definitely recommend this place if you are in Bryne

Menyen var forhåndsoppsatt og det var valgt en 5 retter.Maten var utsøkt og servicen det samme.Presentasjon av maten og stedet, supert.Vin-forslag var satt til rettene og var meget bra.Besøket og måltidet var en "høydare". Takk for en hyggelig kveld.

Only opens on Sundays. A twenty minutes drive from Stavanger, hidden from traffic one can Njågarden restaurant, a little farm open to the public with a restaurant where you get served traditional norwegian husmannkost (traditional food in a simple way). The place is really charming, stands around beautiful trees and fields of beautiful country side. The house where the restaurant has a cosy environment, the service is friendly and the food will not disappoint, simple yet wonderful. This is the type of place that makes you feel good, relaxed. A perfect place to combine a walk at beaches of the area in Jæren and a nice relaxed home meal norwegian style.
