Took a day trip to visit downtown Nacogdoches and decided to try this place. We are so glad we did. Our waitress was great, pleasant and attentive. We got the classic cheeseburgers and they were absolutely delicious. The meat is seasoned very well and it is served on a sweet sourdough bun. Our 4 year old is a very picky eater and even she finished off her cheeseburger. The fries and onion rings are great as well. We will be back.

Kinfolks is like the old diners. Old fashioned food for breakfast, lunch & dinner. Can't go wrong with breakfast. Lunch and dinner favorites are chicken fried steak, pork chops and southwest chicken. Nothing fancy. Country home atmosphere. You'll be eating with the locals. Food & service are always good. Sometimes you just want a home cooked meal.

Just about every Denny's is the same. The food isn't great and it's all seems very processed, frozen or out of a can. The service was good. Overall, there's nothing good about it and nothing bad. Average is correct. It is pretty noisy and located in what appears to be a truck stop.
