Have read about this place for years, but this was our 1st visit. The food is good, hearty & plentiful. Service was really good! Have to admit surprise at how small the establishment is, but we went @ 9:30am, on a week day and got immediate seating

I found myself looking for a place to have dinner after watching a movie and I saw this place. The parking lot was full so I decided to give it a try. The menu is huge and I had a difficult time deciding what to try. I landed on the roast beef and it was delicious. It was served with two sides, salad and freshly baked dinner roll. Be sure to save room for a fresh pie. I had coconut cream and it was outstanding.

Our GPS took us on a circuitous route to find this diner. We ended up in an industrial area next to railroad tracks, and low and behold, there was Virginiaâs! I would describe this place as a quintessential diner where the locals eat (probably the same thing every morning!) and the waitresses know their names and coffee preferences. Sit at the breakfast counter, booth or table, and peruse the menu. Scrambled eggs, hash browns & fresh, homemade wheat toast and 2 eggs over medium, sausage, hash browns with homemade wheat toast were our choicesâ¦and lots of strong, black coffee. The toast was sliced thick and was so good! Eggs & potatoes werenât spectacular or evened seasoned, but salt & pepper close by and other condiments available upon request. Coffee served in a typical diner-style mug: thick and small hole in handle, but it was good joe, no weak stuff here. You get what you see in this local favorite. Friendly servers who make sure your coffee and water never run low, no ambience, and decent grub. This was the cheapest breakfast we had on our recent road trip â a plus in our book!!

This little cafe is wonderful. The staff were friendly and inviting and the food was great. We did have a 10 minute wait but we were there on a Sunday morning. They are only open for breakfast and lunch but diffently worth your while to stop for a bite. Has that small town atmosphere in always growing Lincoln.
