The chicken salad with nice chicken chunks, is excellent, as is their BLT. My friend heats the sirloin and eggs which he says is really good. The grits are the best...buttery and deliciously. Warning: the sandwich sizes are small. Donât expect to get anything oversized. Dora, server, is a doll! Itâs a home-town, family kind of place.

First time visiting. Wife got a grilled cheese with bacon. Comes with small amount of fries and about 3 bites of coleslaw. Portions were perfect for her and she said it was good. I got liver and onions. Came with real mashed potatoes, which were very good. Also green beans, which were not and also cold. Servers were friendly. Decent lunch but probably a one time stop.

We ate here for the first time with visitors and were very happy with the service, food, atmosphere and value. There are many breakfast places to choose from in the area and we noticed that several fire department crews rotated through while we enjoyed our breakfast, reinforcing our choice of restaurants. We will return.
