This restaurant used to be one of our favorites for breakfast and lunch, but today's experience changed everything. The "music videos" were so loud it was extremely uncomfortable both with volume and content - not family friendly at all. Could not even carry on a conversation without practically yelling at each other. It was horrible. Our food took forever today, even with 5 plus people cooking in the back. Our server was rushed and never came back to check on us after we finally got our food. Never asked if we needed anything or wanted refills on our drinks. My order was wrong, but I did not want to spend another hour waiting on my food, so I kept it. No condiments came with the meal - we had to ask another server if we could get some. Unfortunately, this will be our last time at this restaurant. Disappointing since we have been long time customers.

My husband and I had dinner and it was fantastic! We have been several times but last night was even better. I had the pot roast and my husband had the meatloaf and both were excellent. My husband actually had a meatloaf sandwich for lunch the next day and thoroughly enjoyed it. We met the owner who was very attentive and friendly. She brewed us a fresh pot of coffee with our coconut cake which was heavenly. We will be back very soon Good afternoon Vacation620938, We are honored and pleased that you enjoyed your visits. The pot roast is one of our dinner features that our chef creates daily and is not on our regular menu, and I encourage you to try any of our lunch and dinner specials for unique and flavorful dishes. The coconut cake is one of our most popular desserts, and is very moist and delicious. I recommend trying a slice of our Strawberry Shortcake next time, it is just as moist and light as the coconut cake. Waffle House on steroids. GREAT veggies and country ham. Much better than WH. I had a veggie plate - collards (fresh - not canned), fried green tomatoes, and sweet potato soufflé. All were excellent. My wife had breakfast items as did my son (eggs, country ham, hash browns) and they loved their meals. Prices are reasonable and service is friendly and fast. Definite revisit place for us.
