Wir waren von Freunden eingeladen und wurden vorweg darauf hingewiesen, dass hier frisch gekocht wird und nicht Fast Food auf den Tisch kommt. Somit waren wir uns der Wartezeit - vom Bestellen bis zum Servieren 90 Minuten - sehr wohl bewuÃt. Schwergefallen ist es uns nicht, denn wir wurden zwischendurch mit einem Gruà des Hauses verwöhnt und genossen die Zeit zum quatschen unter Freunden. Also bitte plant Zeit ein und erwartet nicht innerhalb von 30 Minuten euer Essen. Dafür wird man belohnt mit einer sehr ausgefallen leckeren Küche.

For the art crowd: I arrived in Kassel from Münster, and basically stumbled upon this international small plates restaurant close to my hotel in a lovely residential neighborhood. The food is fantastic, really special, made with skill and love. Sepia (cuttlefish) was a top hit, and the shrimp, and the steak, and the several vegetable dishes. And the bread with aioli. Two nights later I returned with am Australian museum curator friend and an art consultant. Like me, they swooned and were thrilled. This is a tremendous restaurant for Documenta, which is just a few tram stops away, a perfect place to meet friends and colleagues during the exhibition. Highly, highly recommend!

My husband and I were in Kassel for Documenta from Canada - our Airbnb host recommended this restaurant, and it was so good that we went twice during our very short stay in the city. The owner and staff are so kind, the food and beer is delicious. We made a point of trying schnitzel everywhere we went, and this was by far our favourite place in Germany.Hallo Selena,wir möchten uns für die wirklich nette Bewertung bei Ihnen bedanken. The Pop-up Restaurant, Cafe, Bar "Baya-Eden" provides fresh, regional food, refreshing drinks and an extraordinary view from the huge terraces into "Freibad Wilhelmshohe" (it is a public pool) during summer season 2017.

I visited Kassel for documenta and frequented the cafe here several times. Mieke and Lukas are such super lovely people and it was a pleasure getting to know them. The food there is really delicious and the cocktails and drinks are great! Would deifintely recommend a trip for relaxation, dining and an evening cocktail.They often also have specials such as terrasse grilling (if you catch one of the burgers there, they are A+!)Will for sure visit again, miss it already!
