If your looking for a place to really enjoy food in Kassel, this homey, intimate restaurant it the best place for you!!! After one and a half years in Germany, it was first time we have enjoyed eating in a restaurant...The staff is warm and inviting, perfect hospitality and great food made with lots of love...Food was fresh and soooo tasty....price is fare trade, WC are clean. Highly Recommended!!

Direkt an der StraÃenbahnhaltestelle "Kleingartenverein Baunatal" umzingelt von Kleingärten liegt das Café - Restaurant "Zum Wiesental".Das Ehepaar Peter & Liane Hosbach betreiben mit viel Erfahrung und Herzlichkeit das Café - Restaurant. Die Speisekarte ist übersichtlich und ausreichend. Ich war hier schon öfters Essen und alle Gerichte waren sehr schmackhaft zubereitet.Das Preis - Leistungsverhältnis ist hervorragend.Veranstaltungen bis zu 120 Personen sind möglich.Mein Gesamturteil ist absolut Empfehlenswert.

I was here with my family for brunch and it's been one of the best brunches I've had. A lot of variety and a good mix of cold and warm dishes. Especially good were the Afghan specialities and desserts, everything delicious! The service was very good and attentive as well. Totally recommendable.

Wir hatten mit Freunden einen Tisch reserviert. Haben einen sehr schönen Platz bekommen. Bedienung war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Essen war sehr lecker (Schweinebraten, Jägerschnitzel und Wurstsalat). Wir waren positiv überrascht. Das Ambiente war sehr urig und gemütlich. Viel mit Holz. Die Semmelknödel zum Schweinebraten waren oberlecker. Der Beilagensalat war zwar gut aber noch ausbaufähig. Es waren zu viele verschiedene Geschmäcker/Komponenten auf dem Salatteller. Ich finde es passte nicht alles zusammen. Das Dressing war sehr gut. Haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. GroÃe Getränkeauswahl. Gute Empfehlung für Schnaps erhalten. Freue mich aufs nächste Mal.

This restaurant associated to Hotel Gute offers excellent traditional German dishes with the little accents that make them really delicious. The pepper steak is rather traditional with beans and fries, but the turkey steak with curry foam and fruits is a class of its own. Service is extremely friendly, atmosphere peaceful and in rather dim light. Wir waren wieder nach einem Jahr dort gemeinsam mit Freunden. Das Essen ist Top das Preisleistungs Verhältnis stimmt voll und ganz. Geschmacklich ist es ein Traum. Sehr positiv ist das eine neue " Serviceleistung" dort arbeitet ich hoffe das jetzt wieder mehr kommen.

The beer was good first because it is brewed on site (Hutt Brewery). The food was better; everything seems to be cooked in beer! We ordered smoke pork with mashed potatoes & saukraut; rolled beef with potatoes & red cabbage; beef liver (+2nd portion!) & wurst with potato chips. Lots of beer. A good tour of the shop to look at different kinds of beer being presented. Lovely visit.

The best food in Kassel! The restaurant is situated in an old majestic building with unique spirit across the castle and the park with centuries-old trees. The service was absolutely perfect and the selection of dishes, wine, beer and desserts was simply perfect! We enjoyed ourselves immensely

Wir waren von Freunden eingeladen und wurden vorweg darauf hingewiesen, dass hier frisch gekocht wird und nicht Fast Food auf den Tisch kommt. Somit waren wir uns der Wartezeit - vom Bestellen bis zum Servieren 90 Minuten - sehr wohl bewuÃt. Schwergefallen ist es uns nicht, denn wir wurden zwischendurch mit einem Gruà des Hauses verwöhnt und genossen die Zeit zum quatschen unter Freunden. Also bitte plant Zeit ein und erwartet nicht innerhalb von 30 Minuten euer Essen. Dafür wird man belohnt mit einer sehr ausgefallen leckeren Küche.
